    DeBeers is shutting down their lab grown diamond jewelry company, Lightbox. It seems like prices are dropping so fast they don’t want to bother. So everything is on deep discount. https://lightboxjewelry.com/collections/sale

    I did buy a pair of round brilliant earring studs, 14k white gold mountings, 3 carat total weight, VS or better, G-J color, as a gift. Original list $2,300, sale price $690. As I worked for Tiffany for 20 years I’ve seen loads of goods, and I was impressed-G color for sure, clarity correct, and the cut is pretty good.

    Nice score. At that price, those studs are a steal sounds like Lightbox is dumping inventory fast. G color and solid cut for under $700? Can’t beat that. Smart buy before they’re gone for good.
    And yeah, lab diamond prices are in freefall De Beers bailing says it all.

    I'm going to look into this, sounds like a hell of a deal. Is the G color your preference or simply a value optimum (I can normally spot J vs D but I cant tell between F and D)?

    You don’t get a choice. While the color isn’t top grade, on earring studs (to me) it’s not a deal breaker. On a ring I’d stick D-F.
