Now everyone give me some thought on which Ferrari is the best suited for a medium built lady in terms of upkeeping, drivability, more friendly, not much needed attention etc.
Trying to convince my wife that ferrari is also drivable for ladies.
    Help me guys!

I bought the Mondial for my wife. She prefers the 365. Go figure.

Here in LA its very common for me to see women driving 360's and lambo gallardo's.

Jaturon, is this car really for her or a back door way for you to get another one?!?! If she doesn't have a dream model and hasn't been hankering for it, then probably don't bother. If it's for you really, then you know what you want...

Judge4re: obviouly you are blessed with a true 'car' lady - which sensible 'car' girl wouldn't choose a 365 over a Mondial?
P.S. I've just remembered - isn't this the lady you saved from the evil of a Lexus? Well saved!

I'll let her comment on this thread when she finishes cross stitching for the night, but she said something along the lines of "I've got to rev this thing too much to get it to go, I much prefer the V12...".

Back off boys, she's mine. And her sisters are happily married too.

I was going to say a Lamborghini Diablo should do the trick, i.e. she will never want to drive it, so it becomes YOUR second car sharpish. Job done.

I think a black 456 would be quite nice for the wife, its not to much attention getting and quite a nice and easy drive-every-day car imo.

my Girl drives our 355 and uses the 360. She loves both but says the 360 is as easy as our old SL 500 to drive.

The v8 Ferraris were are designed with women owners in mine. At least that's what they claimed on a recent episode of 5th Gear.

Sorry, I'll just have to post this pic... I guess that means I have to make the point that a F40 is a great car for women (even smaller sized ones)

Aww.. it even has space for the pooch! :)

Back on topic.. depends on the girl. One who's really into cars wouldn't care if the car is 'suitable' for a woman. One who just wants something easy to drive that doesn't attract much attention should just drive an Accord.

I would say that an Accord would definitely draw attention depending on how it was customized (especially here in TX). Suffice to say that my Mercedes '04 C320 C doesn't draw attention is definitely wrong! easy to drive - well yes, fun to drive and affordable to maintain and soon to be a "classic". On the way to work this am at 4000 rpm in 4th gear at 75 with 2 gears to go is less than boring! Our '05 SLK 350 is definitely an eye catcher because it's not some form of silver. It goes like stink too and sounds so good without having to pay extra money to sound that way. Our red Ferrari is also a definite eye catcher around here. From my perspective, the Ferrari is easier to drive than the '82 Alfa GTV6 - most probably due to the fact that the engine is in the rear in the Ferrari and you are looking down rather than up and over the hood on the Alfa - I am 5'. Now, my '04 Chevy 4x4 2500 HD diesel pickup is another story - gender specific, not here in TX - I know more females driving the big wide tire, diesel pickup trucks. I could hardly hook my big gooseneck horse trailer to the Ferrari! - a little customization and it might go thru the panorama roof of the 320 C.

I was thinking of buying my wife a Mondail or a 308GT4. She elected for something newer, so she got a BMW 740il. Maybe when I get my car back on the road it will respark her interest. I would also say a 348 would be a nice car as well. I am 5'9" and when I test drove one at one of the dealers in Houston, I just felt the car was way to small for me. I was too close to the steering wheel and my head almost touched the roof. Even though I wanted to buy it for the looks, I just wasn't comfortable driving it.

My 328 is almost a perfect fit for me at a bit over 5 feet. Had the seat raised an inch & kinda wish the pedals were longer as I like to sit pretty far back from the steering wheel. I’d say, overall, a great size for any XX.

    Well observed Kerrari!
Actually, I have been looking at 512TR to add to my beloved 328GTS. Also 355 has been on the list for a while but personally prefer 512TR.
The reason why I asked is that Ferrari Club Thailand had a get together last for a sprint upcountry and there was this couple in their early 30s, thehusband drove 512TR and the wife 355 Berlinetta. So it kind of got to me that wouldn't it be nice if my wife drove one also.
I know 355 would be more suitable for a lady than either 512TR or 328 but still indecisive as what to get.
Haven't told the wife yet but probably this weekend, wish me luck.

    That's what I wanna hear, a lady in 328.
I have been wondering about ladies driving 328 for a while so I can rest my thought and get the 512TR so my wife can cruise in 328.
    She is 5'4" 110 pounds.
Can you let me know your experience in 328?

He's right, I like something that can get out of my way. My dream car is still the F40 (with Terry Borcheller driving). The engine note is like a lullaby to me. Just get out of my way and let me drive. But, like venusone mentioned, I like to sit a good bit away from the steering wheel, too.

The 365 is just more fun for me. The first one I ever drove. Erik can drive and I can curl up in the passenger seat and sew (on the long trips). Throw a couple of stray cats in the back seat and it would be heaven.

And, what's evil about a Lexus? I've had mine almost 11 years and it's never left me stranded, unlike the MoonDog.

Nobody would wish to nominate the 246 GT? I would say that a nice yello 246 would fit a woman nicely, or you could just get her a nice Azurro California 355 targa.
