are there ever Ferrari/exotic car gatherings in Lafayette?
you'd think our city of 145k would have a few Ferraris in it but Ive only ever seen a 355. I saw a 360 once but I hate that car. Iwant to see some classic Ferraris here. Were surrounded by stupid Porsches and Vettes. No one has taste.

A little picky don't you think? Beggars can't be choosers! ;)
There are some Fcars lurking in Lafayette for sure. But just because people have Vettes or Porches doesn't mean they lack taste.

Think about this for a second. One year in the 80s Porsche built more cars than Ferrari had made since their inception! So obvioulsy spotting an older F-car is going to be a lot more difficult than say a 355, testarossa, or a 360.

How long have you been in Lafayette? Fill out your profile so we can get to know you better:)

    WOW!!! I have a P-car & a Vette...what does that make me??? ;)

You need to make your way down to No Problem Raceway when there are Porsche Club races or Ferrari track days. There are more exotics in south Louisiana than you would think. If you go to some of these events, you will not only get to meet some great people & see some good racing, but you will meet some people in your area with some "interesting" things in their garages!!!

Oh, for the record, most of my Ferrari buddies race Porsches on the weekends...

oh I dont hate Porsches I just see so many I get bored of them.
I want to see osmething exotic. The other day I saw an Aston MArtin Vanquish at a gas station in Duson and I was floored. The sound is amazing and the shape is absolutely gorgeous.

Ive lived in Lafayette about 19 years now and only twice seen a Ferrari.
If people have them, they sure as heck never drive them.

If it's any consolation I know of a Quatroporte that will be in your area all week.

are there ever Ferrari/exotic cars in Lafayette?

YES. i realize this is and older thread but i wanted to respond. lafayette does have awesome cars as i know owners of two red testarossa's, a red and a black 308, a red 328, a yellow 355, a yellow and 2 red 360's, an attorney just sold a red 348, a red 550 maranello, and a red 575 m.... a few other exotics such as the white countach and the black diablo still owned by red. also if you do live in lafayette, be sure to pass through neighborhoods such as river ranch or out in le triumph on a sunny weekend and youll be sure to see one of these cars. and i know yall seem to have somthin against porsche and vetts, but i also have friends in river ranch who own many as well as the brand new z06....

Well actually I saw a Ferrari testarossa just the other day coming out of the East Bayou Parkway road and roaring off down Kaliste Saloom. Good God I htink I lost my **** when I saw that (thankfully I was at a stoplight)

I pass through River Ranch on Camelia bouevard everyday from work. Should I just go cruising down the subdivisions looking? I also dont live far from Le Triomphe either.
