Oh, the forever wannabe dilemma: too much money available, too little talent at hand.

Not the first, certainly not the last....

Based on some video from the 2015 Cavalcade, it appears he likes to drive fast.

I won't make a comment on how the accident happened as I don't know. You guys are psychic accident investigators so you know already without witnessing a thing yourselves. You professional drivers are all qualified to say "too much money, not enough talent etc etc"... dear oh dear...

    Anyway.....
....... if it IS the F12 TRS owner (he has 2 X F12 TRS) then he's had Ferrari's since he was about 18 and normally buys 2 or 3 of every single model they build, and has run Ferraris to the highest level in motorsport (admittedly not as a pro driver), and has a quite amazing collection of some of the worlds best cars. What I'm saying is this is a very very experienced 40 + owner who's owned and driven the worlds fastest road and track cars for decades...not some teenage fool and I'd bet he wasn't drunk.

Furthermore, I'd be VERY VERY surprised if this is his only LaFerrari so as long as no-one was hurt, he probably doesn't give a ****.

Thanks for the information. I'm with you- lets not be too quick to judge. And simply wish that no one was injured.

Sometimes bad things happen even to the most experienced drivers. Maybe he tried to avoid hitting a person? Who really knows.... At least no one was hurt.

Since everyone is ok, it matters very little about the car.

Yet I have to say, what a staggeringly beautiful place Dolomites is... I have been there skiing in winter and it was gorgeous, though now seeing the place in summer... damn... I have to plan a trip!

I have it on good authority (someone who attended) that he fell asleep (or nodded off) while the cars were in convoy and either the car "drifted" forward or he hit the accelerator by mistake.

no speeding and no stupidity involved just a mishap that could have happened to anyone
