Just how well built is the car? It would be interesting for owners to chime in. Panel alignment, screw scratches, paint quality, any flimsy cabin parts?, wheel weighting, general mechanical toughness, etc...

I am not impressed by the 918 at all. The Carrera GT is a vastly superior car in the build quality department.

It has proven to be the very best Super Car Ferrari ever created.

We look over a half dozen examples and over the past year, have only seen them for car shows, driving events, track events, and annual servicing.

    Just my .02 worth,

Ok. Nice to know. Thanks. How about sticky buttons? And does it have any cabin parts from the Fiat 500/Punto or something like that?

I have been fortunate enough to have seen many different laferraris and the build quality seems very good. I was positively surprised the first time I was in one. Too early to tell any sticky problems as the highest mileage I came across is 1k but the material used seems to be the same as the 458 and I have noticed the sticky problem developing on a few. The body panels have all been perfectly aligned and the doors feel solid. overall a great car.

I am very surprised that you thought the Carrera GT build quality was superior to the 918. Of the 3 GT I have driven, all of them had dashboard rattle, mis-aligned panels and the silver decoration seemed like cheap plastic that squeaks. One example had a loose shifter. The car had 5k miles. I have also had experience in the 918 and thought it was top of the line quality wise.

The ''silver plastic'' you speak of is magnesium.

I agree with all points. LaFerrari is very well put together. Much better than Enzo or CGT.
CGT's interior was to me the biggest let down of the car (But who cares really when the car is so beautiful outside and drives so nice). Material felt cheap and were not aging too well.
Have no real exp with the 918 but of the few i have seen, the interior looks better (at least design wise) than the CGT.

This is incorrect do you have real world experience with either?
