it's crossing the line for sure although they are making and selling a version of it (£800k iirc), claimed range of ordinary driving is 300 miles no reason to doubt the 75% claim, the thing is so absolutely overwhelming even for good drivers
Bugatti tourbillon 1800Hp (1000 from V16 N/A 8.3L, The Rest from 3 Electric motors) no comment on final weight (2 Ton plus I was told) Zero to 60 in 2.0sec and Total speed 276mph. 37 mile range around town on EV power. Cost starts around 3.2 million pounds. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I heard the engine redlines at 9,000 rpms too. What an exciting engine. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
First Hybrid Bugatti. V16 engine paired with 25 kWh battery & three electric motors. 800v system. • 1,800 HP • 37 mile electric range • 0-60mph: 1.99s • Suspension is completely 3D printed • Top speed: 276 MPH • 250 will be built. Deliveries start in 2026. • Instrument cluster is made up of more than 600 parts and constructed from titanium as well as gemstones such as sapphire and ruby, [and] the skeletonized cluster is built to the largest tolerance of 50 microns, with the smallest at 5 microns, and weighs just 700g
This 8.3 litre Cosworth V16 will be a beast (I heard 9k RPM, but it doesn't make a difference), but it will be more relaxed than the typical highly strung V12s. It has a cross plane crankshaft and makes the same power as the 6.5 litre Cosworth V12 in the Valkyrie. Obviously that suits the Bugatti's character better, I am just pointing out that this won't be a such a feral engine.
Bugatti knocked it out of the park. First Bugatti I have really lusted after. The whole package is insane and wrapped in a beautiful body. Analog instruments inspired by fine watch making along with the name is icing on the cake. Ferrari, please make me eat my words and deliver something truly insane with this V6…
looks much better than Chiron and have NA engine, I'm not surprised it's sold out but I think it's more SP3 competitor than upcoming laFerrari successor
Yes it’s more cruising faster car than track session car. New laf have v6 from 499p, double s-duct in front, big rear wing big diffuser, push-road suspension, 800v battery etc… it’s really track car with pedigree from lemans. But this tourbillon it’s a big tour de force
it's an absolute masterpiece imo, it's interesting they've stopped the pursuit of outright performance and top speed (although both still insanely fast) in pursuit of pure mechanical engineering and beauty
I actually feel demand will be unrivalved with this car, if combustion is going to go away completely in road cars then this could be remembered as a high point
new Bugatti is elegant/artistic like Pagani Huayra but thankfully have no turbo, going turbo was Pagani biggest mistake, that's why currently Zonda is worth three times more than Huayra
how many units will be build? there will be also spider like laFerrari? I doubt this car will have bigger demend than Enzo...
