Why? A fob is so much more convenient. You never have to take it out of your pocket, which in addition to freeing up a hand (carrying stuff to the car, etc...) also means less chance of locking your keys in the car as well.

Agreed. I hate the walk by the car and it opens and starts. Talk abut security issues.

Carry what? LaFerrari doesn't even have a boot! Hehe!!!
I also suspect that a keyless system is heavier.

A tech wonder... but is this the look of a Ferrari? In the Enzo Ferrari era there were those imperfections that made evry Ferrari special... The last one of the Commendatore was and still is the embodiement of the true spirit of the masterpieces he imagened. The "Old Man" had a vison... He didn't build cars for lucky drivers... The roof leaked? Crackling Noises? Hard clutch or steering? He didn't care... This is not a real Ferrari... This car looks like a japanese spaceship. Looking at this car i can only see a FF on steroids whitout the 4WD and a rear engine. Am i a nostalgic? Yes! So Long Enzo Ferrari you're Soul have been sold to the hightest bidder.

+1 that's exactly what I was thinking, that Ferrari is obviously favoring that market

The rear disk is 380mm or 14.9 inches just under the Enzos 15 inch brakes. The fronts are 398mm or 15.7 inches. So no the rear disk is not tiny, however they're deeply inset inside a 20 inch rear wheel so they may just look small from that angle.

I bet that you also miss the smell of manure now that horse drawn carriages are not around. Damn self propelled cars...

What you are seeing in the center of the rotor assembly, as Toolfan noted, the rotor disc are plenty large, you just cannot see them due to the shadows.

And I'm pretty sure Enzo wouldn't have gone for the name "Ferrari LaFerrari".
