you guys really think LaFerrari is sold out at 500 units and almost U$2m?
i am also hearing two model years, which obviously would make the 2nd year more desirable i am not sure super car market is big enough to accomodate current supply. thus they may be slowing pace of production significantly.
that is much less than i thought. but still expensive. lots of cars to choose from around that price.
No. sold out in so far as more buyers than cars. Not sold out in terms of allocation. Apparently about 100 still to be allocated.
that number is fabricated...they aren't even close to 400 cars allocated...so far its been a handful of people, all of which we cld all name without too much difficulty.
you're implying they haven't decided who they want to sell the remaining cars to? if that's the case then why are they rejecting lots of potential interest? is it because they already have an extensive list of vetted customers?
I'd be surprised if there were that many unallocated. I know someone in the UK who has been told he has an allocation and I don't think there is anything special about him (i.e. not a celeb or promoter of the brand, I think he just met purchase history requirements)
Per a very large dealer in the UK; Ferrari was considering a second run on this car due to demand. (However, they have backed off that stance; as of two weeks ago)
I call bs on the UK dealer's comment, the economy in Europe is down to sh-ts most of their allocations will have to end up in the US
UK Ferrari sales are very strong. Indeed the UK has surpassed Germany as the largest Ferrari market in Europe. Germany is also strong and you have to keep in mind that Russian oligarchs and Arab royalty would kill to have a LaFerrari.
Here you go dude; read it yourself....I did not post the person's name that wrote this.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The very wealthy still have money to play with and they'll never turn down an opportunity at a potential investment.
Germany, UK, Switzerland are three major F-markets in Europe and they're going pretty strong this year and their LaFerrari allocation lists are absolutely completed as of now. Germany is going to receive about 55-60 cars, UK about 50 cars and Switzerland about 40 cars. But almost all other European markets do suffer this year and may be those allocations will end up in the States.
