both cars are in the driveway tonight. I stopped at a truck accessory shop and ordered two sets of running boards and remote start kits. then the upholstery to make appointments, headliners look like drapes.

Got the second car doors open. Broke one door handle in the process. Two months ago the car went in because I could not get the doors open. $3,500 later. Guess what. Real winners. So I took my hired felon off the job I had him on. He crawled over the seats and unlocked the drivers door. Then all the doors worked. Plywood covers the ditch made for underground security system wiring. Another project

    Hey Mitchell,

Just saw this on eBay. Super rare "Isuzu" Laforza! LOL!!! I've heard people call them a lot of stuff, but never an Isuzu!

I have never seen so little info in an ebay advert. so I bid $100. both the cars now have new headliners. one is in a truck accessory shop waiting for running boards and remote key start. the other car will go in next for the same thing. so by next week end both cars may be ready. an issue with one is the LH wiper transmission. the other may have an auto trans. problem. I need to get them back and drive both

For the last post time table. What started out as a $3,600 car. Went to s shop for s general check up and came out with a $3,500 bill and would not run. Rip off. It was taken to a after market truck shop. That's when I found out it would not run. I wanted steps so I could get in. Quoted $1,000 and remote lock and start. Quoted $1,000. It has taken two weeks and 80 hours. To get the thing running. Read a bill now that stands at $6,000. And the thing is not finished. Tough slog

Said, 'come get it'. Great! So I drove the second LaForza over to get the running boards, remote start, backup camera, new sound system and Pirelli tires. Get there and the first(red) one will not start. Wiring issue quickly fixed. I told them to drive it before I would take the car. Sure enough it would not shift out of low and ran hot. Shift canoe screws up and rotten vacuum hoses. Then they found that the first shop did not put water in the cooling system! 100 hours so far

You bet. It is now down to adjusting the shift cable and replacing the vacuum hoses. Until another problem shows

It is a 'homemade' photocopied pages binder that covers everything...

The other two are factory - guessing you recognize those?

Each section (labeled in the photo), contains first narrative, then technical troubleshoot section, then, yes, electrical schematics. Very comprehensive. This book would definitely assist your mechanic by the sound of it.

Car driven 50 miles to 75 mph. No issues. Trans shift module bad, shift cable way out of adjustment and all vacuum hoses rotted. Toys going on. They hope to be finished by tomorrow I am not holding my breath.

so here I am 10 days later. both home. I am out $20,000. have two running cars, I hope. I have not driven the problem car yet. will tomorrow. here's hoping. had to rewire the whole damn car. I got 2 of Pirelli all weathers, two back up cameras, two remote starts, two Kenwood systems with screens and two sets of running boards. the rest was wiring and trouble shooting, motor and transmission.

car on it's first drive. geesss. spent $20,000 on this sucker. none of the windows work, water temp light will not go out. transmission shifts so hard, etc. so I called, 'did you check the oil in all gear boxes like I asked', duh, no. wrong radio, wrong backup camera. had enough.

I had a machine shop make them out of aluminum. got those today. front seats rotted. thy will be finished this week. that leaves the window control switches. three are missing. and installing the door handles. the silver car needs the door handles

P38 Range Rover copied the style/shape, wow all the others copying Italian design,,,,AGAIN!

Anybody hear about this Rayton Fissore 4WD smashing through the crash test barrier because of its super strength?

How much of this is due to the shop's abilities?

I've had a 5.0 Supercharged Laforza for a few years and have even daily driven it for weeks at a time. It has been a very reliable vehicle but with the usual 30yr old Italian car "mini projects" that pop up every few months.
