I posted several months ago, but now time to make a decision. Anyone know of a lakefront (or darn near) cabin, house etc that I can rent for a bachelor party? Prob 15 guys ages 35-40 and pretty low key. We'd like to hang out, rent a boat or two and do lake stuff.

Thought about Tanglewood, but would like something where we can hang together vs individual rooms. Also, not many are golfers so...

I'm just not that familiar with the area and it's offerings.

    Thanks!

there are a TON of cabins at Texoma for rent, all the North Texas and Oklahoma people that have a vacation house and rent out for expenses and taxes.

here is the one we got for later in May 4 bedrooms and walking distance to the newly redone and nice Highport bar/restaurant/marina.

The odds of you getting waterfront at Texoma are SLIM. Check Cedar Creek, Tawakoni, Richland Chambers (not recommended), or Possum Kingdom.

This one at the Pinnacle Club, the golf course is there:

Good point. "Waterfront" on a Corp lake could be hundreds of feet from the actual water, and likely no view of the water.

True waterfront at texoma, almost impossible. I own a condo at tanglefront, as well as a "floating" private boathouse in highport. If it did not float, I would be 20+ feet under water a few times.

Condos at tanglewood for rental are not bad, it may be the best you can do on texoma. You can walk to lake in 5 mins.

doesn't have to be truly waterfront. really just want in proximity so we aren't 10 miles from lake in a cabin. Jimpo...those lakes are too quiet I think. I like Texoma and Lewisville for the activity. It's a bachelor party with no strip clubs, but might get bored if I put them on a totally family lake. there are 22 guys invited, but not sure how many will attend so hard to judge requirements. the vbro site is overwhelming if you don't know the area. hoping I can get a "go to this place, you'll love it" rec.
