Todd, Thanks again! It was a great time with some awesome sights and sounds. Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford were both true gentlemen and a pleasure to meet. I think one of the highlights was watching both Joey and Brad ask Jay and Jamie if they were twins. It was very funny indeed. Here are some pics. Jay is supposed to upload some photos as well. Cheers! Scott Enjoy the track! PS. Yes thats a Mclaren MC-1 and a D-type. Lambo Boston really did a great job putting last night together. Normally I get annoyed when people ask "are you twins?" (it seems rather obvious to me), but when two members of your favorite band ask, you let it slide. Besides, I ended up telling them how much I loved their music and what a big fan I was, so we were even. I am sure they get those comments more than I get the twin questions. Anyway, here are a few pics.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I want to thank everyone that was here for the support last night. It was an unbelievable success. Unfortunatley the party was not a public event so I could not post a thread here for you all to attend. But I can promise that we will be having more events in the future that will also be more exciting!! We hired a photographer so when I get my hands on some pics I will post as well. I was just so busy to be taking photos myself. I look forward to all of you coming in to say hi since we are now officially open!! Kind Regards, ~Todd
Todd, Congratulations on a great event! Seems everyone truly enjoyed. From the photos posted so far it appears there were some VERY impressive cars! Look forward to attending one of your future events.
It was on the news last night also! Looked like a good time... congrats on the grand opening Todd! I'll be by soon...
Was this grand opening advertised or posted here?? I completely missed it, i would have taken a ride down in my Diablo.
I agree. it seems all lambo dealerships are like this. the opening of the prestige lambo dealership in miami on rt. 1 did the same thing. they didnt even allow reg. lambo owners, they kept it "exclusive" so everyone would be jealous. honestly, what is so special about joey and brad? cuz they are in a band?...not a good way to start....
In all fairness to Lambo Boston, they did not start this thread. Scott did. We both thought this would be a good event to post some pictures of, seeing as everyone here is interested in these cars. I know I wasn't trying to make anyone jealous or rub anything in. And I doubt anyone else was either. As far as Joey and Brad - personally I did think it was cool to get a chance to talk cars with those guys for a while. (Then again I am a huge Aerosmith fan) They are two of the biggest car nuts I have ever met and it was very interesting to hear their opinions and experiences with the many sports cars they have owned.
The event was a lot of fun. I certainly wasn't trying to rub it in either, rather hoping that some of the enthusiasts on this sight would be happy for a few friends that got to meet some cool car guys who just happen to write some kick a$$ music. It wasn't about oneupsmanship or I can piss farther and longer than you. As for Lambo Boston hosting the event with 2 local hero's, yeah I'm all for it. Boston fans are known across the country as the most die hard sports and local tallent fans anywhere. Simply put: its a Boston / New England thing, you wouldn't understand. (not a Lambo thing)
I would like to clarify that when I made my post above about this seeming obnoxious, I posted before I realized that the thread was started by Scott, not by Lambo of Boston. I thought they were bragging about throwing an event that we weren't invited to because they got Brad and Joey to show up...which WOULD be obnoxious. After I talked to Scott later, I realized that HE started the thread (D'oh!) and was just bragging. I don't blame him for that. I would probably brag about meeting Brad and Joey too! So I still think he sucks because he met Brad and Joey! But I humbly apologize for sounding like a jerk. Hey Scott, next time you talk to Brad tell him that I have been an Aerosmith fan longer than you! (And to prove it, ask him if "Whitford St. Holmes" means anything to him and tell him I have the vinyl! "Sharpshooter!!!!") Birdman
I was at this event... it was certainly a great time... Even saw Todd two days later at a charity event with the Lamborghini(company) yellow Gallardo press car... Fun ride, although Ill be up sometime for one on the highway... here is the shot a buddy of mine took after some Photoshop of course... http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/33784799/ -Pete
Jonathan, No apology necessary. Or more to the point "Aww Anna Mae, c'mon now baby, you know Ike still loves you."
