Do you know if the 6.0 was for sale or if it was it was a customer's car? I may have to go check it out this weekend if it will still be there.

That's not a real Millennium Roadster, the plaque is bogus.

I didn't take any yesterday just because of the position of the car on the floor. pretty much in the corner. I did however take pics of it on another occassion. here's the link. only 9 pics. wasn't in a great spot that day either.

I guess if anyone would know it's you. Is there any identifying marks/plaque on or inside the car to determine if its a real millenium roadster?

They were all Titanium, except for 1 YELLOW.This from Lambocars:

On the early 2000 Detroit Auto show, Automobili Lamborghini SpA announced the Diablo VT 6.0 will be the only Lamborghini built during the 2000 production year, a few Diablo GTR's were still being finished at that time, but all other types would be cancelled.
Fortunately, Automobili Lamborghini SpA did make a marketing effort, they showed a very nice looking Titanium Metallic
Diablo VT Roadster on the same Detroit Auto Show, next to the yellow Diablo VT 6.0. This Roadster was in fact a limited edition version, the Millennium Metallica Roadster, as the factory officially calls it.
This car is a special Roadster made during the 2000 production year in a limited production run of only 30 cars,
the car is available in a special Titanium Metallic finish, in fact it is just a shade lighter than the earlier Titanium metallic available for the Roadster, but the biggest difference on the inside is the two tone leather interior, on the Titanium version the seats are covered with a mix of gray and black leather.
Another feature for the Millennium Roadster is the use of a clear Carbon Fiber rear spoiler, mounted on this Millennium Metallic Roadster it looks great.

I also found a Millennium Roadster finished in Yellow, also with a two tone, yellow and black leather interior, this one doesn't have the Carbon Fiber rear wing installed, but the yellow bodywork combined with the black and yellow leather really looks good.
Another very well received feature for the Metallico Millennium Roadster was the use of the shorter SV type rear differential ratio, this means the Diablo VT drivetrain was coupled to an SV-type Bevel gear type differential with a 1 to 2.53 ratio instead of the VT's 1 to 2.41 ratio, giving a phenomenal driving experience for this very limited automobile.
Automobili Lamborghini SpA intends to have a brand new Roadster ready by 2003, of course this one will be based on the successor to the current Diablo, which is still to be presented at the 2001 Geneva Auto Show.

All ten US millenniums are silver, with plaques with vins. I have all ten vins, this is not one. I also have pictures & info on the real #4. All millenniums were built nov & dec of 99, this car was built much ealier.

Thanks Mark. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you own #4. btw. what does the plaque look like. is it anything like the dash plaque on SV monterey editions.

Good job. I really thought all of them were Titanium. The Euro explains why I have never seen nor heard of the yellow one.

    12224.

    1) It's not on your list.

    2) The Emblem on all the others is outlined in Gold. That one is in white/silver.

and if you look a little close you can see that the "Millenium Metallico" on the real cars is spread out more almost touching the edges of the plaque. On 12224 plaque it looks closer together.

Here's a link to the car in question:

how would you like to pay a 25K to 35K premium, because it's a Millennium, then finding out it isn't?
