And umm... can anybody confirm... i remember when we has the SLR shipped by air it had to be emptied of fluids. It was a cargo plane tho, do the same measures apply when shipping your car in a passenger plane?

This is quite common. A lot of rich middle eastern guys ship their cars to London for the summer. Not to mention that Sir Paul McCartney had his Hybrid Lexus shipped from Japan via cargo plane. Bunch of hypicrytical idiots. Who cares anyway. Let him do what he wants.

Totally crap, the car has been seen in London for the first time around june 30th and I've seen it almost every day for the past two weeks. The guy drives around Harrods twice a day then shuttles between the major hotels in London. It's parked at the Grosvenor House parking. No way he's here for an oil change.

Btw, there is another LP640 Hamann in London in another color....

The likelyhood is that the owner flew the car over to the UK, as many people do from the Middle East to use over the summer in the UK. Incidently he booked it in for a service while it was in the UK.

I know many Arab guys who fly their cars over.

Here's the other Muciélago LP640 Hamann spotted in London a few days ago during my visit to the city. I guess it's not chrome but polished aluminum. Looks cool but I prefer the "standard" one.
