I know some of you think I am nuts! BUT the 670-4SV is ready for winter AGAIN this year..just had the snow tires put on today! YAHOOOOO Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Roy, We were thinking about doing the same thing, except it's 104 degrees outside today here in SoCal. I suppose that you can never prepare too early for winter. Where are those snow tires anyway? Hum...... Gary Bobileff
The main reason I put them on, is not for the snow and ice, we really dont get that much here..it is for the temp on the road payment when it drops under 40 degree's here..roads are still bare, but the temp makes the performance tires like "ice skates" the winter tire compund is better suited to the colder payment temps..
...that and for when you decide to take it through the snow covered mountains where its chains and all wheel drive only!
Way to keep the car active! I need to live someplace where people don't put their cars away for the winter. Chris
I would LOVE to live somewhere where we could enjoy our toys year-round, but I'll take solice in the thought that we'll appreciate them even more with a few Months of forced seperation. Brian (please don't pop my bubble, it's all I have ;^)
You have a point. But man, I was watching videos from my trip to California the other day, and it put me in the BEST mood!! But it was a vacation after all, it's not where I live. Chris
the thought of driving this exotic in the winter all winter elevates "cool" to another level. Uber cool! Gary Espada 8394
I did... only in the driveway though. Philippe S2 7987 www.lamborghinimiura.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
Didn't think it would happen, but Roy I think you may have been 1 'upped! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PVRL3yh4iA[/ame]
Roy, it's not going to be fully ready for winter until you go all in: http://www.americantracktruck.com/
Yea, I remember that...but I dont think I am ready to DESTROY my car by hitting the rev limiter as many times as he did, but then again, its not his car so WHO cares.. See thats the difference between, driving and enjoy the car as it was built...AND JUST plain STUIP ASS!
Geez! That makes for an entertaining video, but I don't know why anyone would do that to a Lambo. Chris
If i could drive on salt free roads which here unfortunately is an impossibility for half the year, then for sure i would love to drIve my car in winter . Carbs and my engine love the cold! For you and gary that get sunburned in jan just take comfort in the fact that in less than a month our dot trucks will be out with a special brine spray to coat the roads in anticipation of that first heavy frost . This is a sad day for car guys here! Gary Espada 8394
I feel you man! I'm in Michigan which is great in the summer, but just plain depressing in the winter. Chris
