Lambo Murci Roadster vs. Ferrari F430...

Both amazing cars and I would if I were purchasing go for the Lamborghini over the ferrari...

Just one mans opinion.

They really did a great job with this new car.

 

Well the F430 shouldn't even compare really... The Murcie roadster is up there with that 575 superAmerica...Even comparing the superamerica to the murcie roadster, I'd take the lambo.... its one of the best looking exotic roadsters I've seen, since the diablo roadster. Ferrari hasn't seemed to top the Lambo roadster...maybe in another 10 yrs...

The F430 would compare to the Gallardo (roadster), which would probably also have Lambo stil more preferred.

 

i dont know how the murci compares to a 575 SuperAmerica, but i do know that a Gallardo will romp on a 360, so well have to see if Ferrari was able to shorten that gap with the F430.

 

That Murc looks like the ultimate attention magnet. I think I'd need to go on some SSRIs from the emotional issues it would cause. LOL.

theres no comparison in that case. the F430 cant compare realistically. Esp when u factor in production numbers.

 

Can't really compare the two. One is a top of the line, 12 cylinder, open top supercar. The other is a hardtop, "entry level" V8 sports car.

 

Perhaps because they're both V12s, both roadsters..and in indentical price range.

This is what you compare to a Murcielago Roadster a V 12 Ferrari open supercar. 1 of 3 in the US . Its really a sin that F never built this car because its SO beautiful & SO much fun

I thought of a Murc roadtser, then I saw this & I think my slutmobile is better looking, more open & just as much fun. Ive always been crazy about TRs

BTW a 430 Spyder MSRP is not the same as a Murc Roadster MSRP

Ohh, this one I'd take over the murice..... This has so much more character..The murcie being brand new, would be less desired in this comparism.
Why cant Ferrari go back to RR V12 cars...? This car would've been the template for the 550 barchetta, perhaps.....

Murcie roadster is drop dead gorgeous.




The two cars have a different mission and price.

 

i agree, i always wondered why ferrari didnt make a conv. tr....it has the greatest lines.....a natural as a drop top....image a a 512tr spider!!!!so much better looking than a superamerica...

 

For me, I'm thrilled that Ferrari and Lamborghini both put out exotics that push the envelope further. It brings out the best of both. The Murcie spyder is the ultimate in drop tops. Having seen the Gallardo spyder last weekend as well as a new F430 spyder, we have many great choices.

 

Well I will put my head on a block...I dont like the Murcie Roadster, the soft top is a supposed joke and really whats the point of owning a convertible when it takes you 20 min to take the top either on or off and then if it rain the top leaks? Thats the sole reason I dont like the Murcie....

I would take the 430, cheaper and probably quicker over a mountain pass....

 

The Slutmobile doesnt even have a top !!!!

I just watch the sky to see when I have to go home, I have the Gator & the Vette for rainy days. Who cares about a top ? I have 2 Ferrari raincoats in the trunk if it pees on me.

So whats a little water. Testa Rossas in the 50s didnt have tops either, neither do Shelby Cobras

 

I suppose you do have a point....however it should also be remembered that the Testa Rossa's and the Shelby Cobras were built a long time ago. But I suppose if you live in an area where the climate is mainly sunny then the Murcie Roadster would come into its own.

Cool, what color is your 360 ? Are you doing the run to the Keys July 25 ?

 

360 Is Red/Black. In the process of selling it right now to replace with a 512TR as a "keeper" and either a 355/360 Spider. Im game on the Keys run .... tell me more!!

 

I dont know a lot about the Key run yet, I only know its FCA & I thionk its July 24 & 25.

They are staying at Isla Morada, SHould be fun

I kinda did the same thing. I picked up a 512 as a keeper a few months ago. Thing is just great.
