2 very cool cars, I'd take both of course but which 1 do you like better ?

I imagine the CGT is a much better drivers car

    I prefer the Porker:
    -Carbon fiber chassis v. steel
    -2wd v. 4wd
-a lot less weight AND more power
    -better convertible top
-better styling (this is of course subjective)

Carrera GT! Such a beautiful car. I like the engine noise too, but I haven't heard a Murcie roadster so I can't say for certain.

the carrera GT is a car for the track, the murci a car for the road. I love them both, but honestly, if u arent going to track it; its tough to justify the GT, your paying for a carbon chassis, carbon brakes, and the largest difference will be in maintenance I think. Its an impossibly tough decision. IMO, most would be much happier in a murci though, the GT is an awesome performer, but it is a lot of car for the majority of ppl, probably too much.

    CGT.

I am a Lambo fans but CGT has less weight and more power, hence (IMHO) is a much better / fun-to-drive car.
I guess the comparison is not 100% apple to apple since CGT price is much moe expensive right?
How much is the price of CGT and Murci-roadster?

Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is the one I'd pick. The CGT seems like it needs lots of skill to drive. It is also not as nice looking IMHO. The stig on top gear couldn't get it around the track with out spining it off the track. I'd be too scared to get in one and go over 20 MPH.

How do they compare in terms of front end ground clearance? I have heard that this is a significant issue with the CGT if you are going to drive it on the street.

    I've driven both briefly.

If you want to impress the paparazzi, go for the Lambo.

If you want the best car, there is no comparison. The Porsche is literally unbelievable.

As has been said in previous threads, the CGT is the one for the track. Although both are gorgeous....and I have seen both on the track.....the CGT is the all 'round best pick.

Don't get me wrong, I adore the Murcielago Barchetta, but you can't beat the Porsche. Plus, the CGT has a better dealer network to support it.

If the purpose is simply to see and be seen, get the Murci. Its a stunner. If you want to fly slightly under the radar (notice I said slightly) and still have a blast, the CGT it is.

The Murci Roadster sounds incredible too. It was the loudest one on the track amongst a bunch of Gallardos (including an SE) and a variety of other cars.

I use the CGT for my 3 am runs down the highway.

I use the Murci Roadster for pimping downtown.

Ok my next post is number 1000, i need a thread worth it. The search begins...

I'd lean toward the Merci, I would have to drive the Porsche to form an ultimate fundamental decision quintessential to the development of complex enjoyment and enlightenment of the human senses, to see if ze kar kompany from Germany haus engineered ze ride of ze Porsche so perfektly, to ze point ver it iz no fun to drive and laks ze kharacter of a true sports kar.

The Lamborghini has my vote as fun to drive and listen to while cruising the coastline...... and most easy to pick up a petite blonde along the way.

William, maybe the best thing to do here is tell us exactly what you want to do with the car?
