Close, except for the emphasis. A car enthusiast here in the Bay Area who is from Argentina and who has done a bit of racing pronounces it guy-YAR-do, but the y-sound is a little softened. The double-L in Spanish, of course, is pronounced like a Y. However, if you think the accented syllable has that big Y sound--YAR--it sounds forced, so .... accent on:

    "yAR"

    Thanks Webby. :)

You'd never think your first two pics are of the same car. On my monitor anyway the colors look completely different. The second shot was taken by a friend on a different camera - and in different light of course.

We sure did. Gallardo, Testarossa, 996 GT3 and 996 Turbo in one fast freight train through through the back country on a breakfast run to end all breakfast runs.

Ash's shots were taken at the ferry crossing on the mighty River Murray where we paused for breath!

Great roads, perfect weather, no traffic and fun cars make for a winning combination. :D

I'm not a big fan of "whips", but that is one mean looking Gallardo.

Amazing stuff. When I started this thread last May, I thought we might get 15-20 pics of owners cars. It is well above 60 on owners cars!! Simply amazing.

I think a lot of it could be attributed to you. Your helpfulness has made this part of F chat one of the classiest.

I know many guys have bought in the last year, who couldn't have done without your help.

Thanks for keeping this part of the board afloat/fun and great, for us future/current lambo owners.

I always though my first exotic would be a F car. After hanging out with you guys here and reading your posts AJ, I know it will be a 6.0.

    Keep up the great work.

Instead of smoking the rear lights, have you considered powdercoating the Lamborghini badge red to match? Would be eeeeeviiil.
