Lambo V-8 sounds better than Ferrari V-8?

    I have always heard that the V-8 as fitted to the Urraco-Jalpa cars 'sounded better' than the contemporary similar displacement Ferrari V-8s.
    I have not heard a Lamborghini V-8, and would love to hear anyone's comparative descriptions, as well as if they think it comes from the Webers, firing order or exhaust design. I am not sure if the Lamborghini engine also has a flat 180 degree crank.

    ferrari V8 is pretty hard to beat. i will say, from the lambos ive heard, that they sound pretty good.i just cant ever imagine saying that that it sounds better than a ferrari....my $.02

    the Jalpa i have sounds better than any of my 308 series ferraris i have owned or driven to date. i would say the newer 360s sound better than a v8 lambo, but thats an apples and oranges thing. the friends i have had following me in thier exotics say the sound from the car is intoxicating. i need to let one of them drive it so i can follow and hear it. if i keep the car ( jalpa) i will put the individual air cleaners on it, which will make even more carb noise! my car has the cat pipes still on it and all the air pump crap still on it, though the cats are hollowed out. i may look into getting a test pipe made for " track days " ya know..... era to era, the only thing that sounds better than a Jalpa , would be a carb countach, with a carb BB512 a tie .

    ive driven behind a jalpa, much better than a 308 or 328
