What is up with Lamborghini Bergen County? Ever since Marchello Left that place has been a downfall. I cant get a answer on where my car is, or anything... Sales department has attitude issues, anyone else have any problems? Comments?
I did not know things were going that bad over there. Sorry to hear about that. Any other problems there?
Actually, no disrespect to Marcello or anybody else but I think the place has improved nicely from previous months. Richard is a great sales manager, and Norberto does a super job on servicing. Mayur oversees the overall operation. They've got a great team under them as well. I know they've had an influx of both cars (new deliveries) and customers (warm weather) recently so that may be causing somewhat of a lag in response, but I do think these guys are top quality so don't be too hasty in passing judgement. I'll let the guys know you're looking to speak with them. What is your real name and number - PM me if you'd like.
Richard and Raymond are both extremly nice and treat me great every time I go in there. Raymond also took me out for a ride in the pearl white G Spyder that I will never forget
I actually stopped by there today and I'm with ghost on this one. Im really a big fan of the new guys. They've always been attentive and really just a nice group of good guys.
As far as the dealer participating in events the gentlemen Richard is great and pulled through by bring some great pieces to my show. Richard was actually brought down by Frank from his other dealer in Florida.
Richard use to work for Ferrari North America in Englewood as I.T. guy as far as I know from a ex FONA employee. The service manager is a great guy, I have a problem with Richard's attitude. Frank is the coolest dude, as for Richard I have a problem. Im not going to bad mouth the man anymore I just really dont care.
I went to LoBC a while ago because I wanted to pick up an SE. I met this sales rep (mayur) who took down all my info. Said a car would be opening up soon. Never got back to me and wouldnt return my phone calls. Was so turned off, never went back.
Yes, Frank has been taking care of us personally. However Richard the man who ordered the car refuses to give me any information on it. My Father owns Martin Cadillac, I know how to treat people in the car business. For example a while ago I was trying to make a deal with him on 06 Gallardo to trade in our 04 before the spyder came in, I went there to give service information to Richard and the car I was going to buy he had sold, because I never gave him a deposit, he never even gave me fair warning that he had someone else on the car, when your dealing with 200,000 dollar cars you just dont blow off someone who already has a car on order from you, I expect a phone call saying hey look I have someone here who is interested in the car you want to buy, are you going to buy it if not I can/ am going to sell the car to this person, etc... Common Sense almost... I had no problem with the car being sold, the problem is you dont treat people like that. Dont get me wrong I REPEAT FRANK IS A AMAZING GUY, I HAVE MY OUTMOST RESPECT FOR HIM AS WELL AS THE SERVICE CREW AT LOBC. I am in the car business and I dont like to be treated like dirt. I sent Zab Juddah to LOBC and Suga Hill Gang as well as other customers, im not asking for my car earlier then anyone, im asking for a answer. At the end of the day its all good. Thanks to all who posted back... If any of yall need Caddies or wanna test drives hit me up... Peace...
I have been dealing with Lamborghini Bergen County since its inception and can say that the staff there now is the best that has been there for a long time. From my experience I have always had my calls returned by the staff at Bergen County. There service department is without compare, i had a problem with my Murci that the old tech Steve and tech from the factory were unable to fix. Norberto not only diagnosed this problem but fixed it. I have nothing but repsect for the service department. Sales is headed by Raymund who is a very experienced Ferrari's salesman. He has been in the exotic car business for a very long time. I would recommend you give him a call if you have any sales related issues. As far as Richard as it was pointed before he worked for Ferrari NA before he joined Lamborghini Bergen County and as a result he has vast inside experince on how to deal with the manufactuer in meeting the needs of his customers. So as someone has pointed that the service and staff at Bergen County has taken a turn for the worse i would have to dis-agree and make an argument for the exact opposite.
Basically I was heated over a issue that I directed to much toward Richard. I am willing to work with Richard if we can both can be civil and at peace! Im not a person to burn bridges there Im going to put what had happend in the past behind me and leave it there and try and work on the future with Lamborghini of Bergen County. Everyone deserves a second chance...
I know Steve didn't leave on the best of terms, but I don't think it's fair to publicly call his technical abilities into question without elaborating. He's still hands down one of the best and most experienced techs out there. And Jonathan ("tech from the factory") knows more about Lambos than anyone I've ever met...I would find it very very surprising if he was truly stumped on a technical issue. In the interest of fairness Rehan, can you elaborate a bit more about this problem you had that Steve & Jonathan couldn't fix? nlh
Noahs right. Steve is a great guy and a hell of a technician. I'd trust his ability with any car. Hes the only person I truly trust dealing with any issues that arise with my car.
Ofcourse, as you all know i have an 2004 Muricelago. When i purchased the car it had a problem with the lifting system the car would not go up and would always be in the down position. The second problem was the car would have the suspension light blink while driving on less than perfect roads. Steve had the car for a week and finally got the the suspension to go up and down but the blinking light would still occur. I was told by Steve that ALL Murcielagos have this problem because the sensor is very sensitive and small bumps cause the light to blink, even though everyone i know who has a Muricelago never experienced that problem. So in other words it is normal and you have no choice but to live with it. I did not make a big deal out of it because the car was functioning fine and light did not annoy me that much. When Norberto joined LoBC i explained the problem to him and he said he would research it and get back to me. Well he called me and said i should bring my car in because he had found the solution. I could not take my car to him for a few months because of the weather and told him i would bring it once spring rolled around. Well, three days later and after having the car for a over a year and half the problem was fixed and it was due a faulty maximum sensor. Simple fix for a problem that I was told was normal and could not be fixed. From this as you can see i am biased towards the new staff of LoBC and think they are without compare.
