    Looking for a retro photo of the first owner with a car.
    In 1985, the car was presented at the Geneva Auto Show as the first Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV "Downdraft" car. Immediately after the auto show, the car was bought by the famous "king of chicken wings", the owner of the Copeland's fast food chain - Al Copeland. This businessman was obsessed with speed. For example, he had the fastest Boss Hoss motorcycle, which he modified to 600 hp (with nitrous oxide). and a high-speed 40-foot motorboat "Skater", which developed a speed of 166 miles per hour. His boat racing team became the US champion 5 times.
    The Countach 5000 QV took center stage at Copeland's New Orleans car garage. From an interview with Al in 2001, "I went through that stage in my life when I was quite actively collecting cars," Copeland explains, adding that I used to have about 50 cars. "I've sold most of them over the years. Now I have only a Lamborghini Countach and a 62-year-old Cadillac convertible… Mostly I prefer cars that I like to drive, because it's interesting to really drive them and enjoy them." The Countach 5000 QV remained with Ed for 23 years until his death in 2008 and had only 9,750 miles on the odometer.

    Unfortunately, the photo is not Al. The photo is really a Lamborghini VIN FLA12835. The guy in the photo, Fred Farbin, is Ella's friend from New Orleans. Al let him take a picture with the car as a keepsake.

    Nice story, only FLA12835 was not the Geneva Show car that was FLA12815 (red/champagne) and FLA12816 (White/white), I was at that particular show and have taken pictures which you can find in the countach registry.

    I looked at the photos in the registry. Very cool. There are no photos from the Geneva Motor Show to be found.

    IIRC it has been established that the brochure car is not a QV despite being in the QV brochure.

    The early Downdraft FLA12835 was used as a Factory Press car. Presented in the QV Downdraft brochure distributed in 1985 Published in the March 1985 issue of Autocapital magazine.

    I have a picture of me at 15 years old with the car, and will find it. Later having aquired the car I really hate that i sold it!

    Is there any proof for this? Since this is rather FLA12798 the very first bianco/rosso QV!
    Consignment date: 02/27/1985
    Destination:Emilian Auto Bologna

    Since FLA12835 was consigned in May 1985 it cannot be the Autocapital March car.
