I recently purchased a Lambo Diablo chassis that was certainly in a bad fire. It appears that a previous owner then had it bead blasted. I am trying to locate the VIN but I can't find it on the driver's side A-pillar where I believe it should be. Ignore the metal pipes sticking out of the rear of the two photos.

The drivetrain is gone. It's here in the Orlando, FL area and I believe that it was local to this area when it was involved in the fire. Does anyone know the history of it? Where else is the VIN stamped into the chassis?

    Thanks.

VIN should be stamped on the chassis member at RH side of engine bay.
What is your plan with the chassis?

    Hi Steven. Hope you're well!

What are your plans for that??

What's a Diablo chassis made of? Are you concerned about the effect of the fire on the integrity of the metal?

You could alway put it on a shopping cart and make the scrap metal guys wet their pants!!

    Keep us informed!!

The fire was limited to the passenger's dash area so the integrity of the steel chassis shouldn't be compromised.

My plans? To either flip it for something else or to install a Ferrari 355 drivetrain (it's sitting in my garage, also for sale or trade) into the chassis and create a 'DevilFrankenFerrari'. Alternate names could be 'ItalianSpaghetti' or 'PrancingDiablo'. I welcome other muddled names or ideas. Purists need not apply.
