Any more info out there reg the 100 Years of Ferruccio event ? Could be a great reason for a trip to Italy, will there be car parades etc very greatful for any info, thanks

Folks, it is not too late to register to Ferruccio's 100th Anniversary to happen end of April, here is last communication :

You have already been informed about the event that Tonino Lamborghini and his family have conceived for the 100th anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini birthday.

It is an unique event, a special occasion which will be part of the history of Ferruccio, an Italian symbol of high quality and excellence worldwide.
It is our desire to celebrate first the man, through the places and locations of his personal story, and then the entrepreneur who indelebily marked the world of mechanics and engineering.

Your partecipation to the Ferruccio Lamborghini anniversary will testify your esteem and regard for Ferruccio and his all family. With your presence ,you will attest your love and respect for the man who invented many beautiful car jewels and confirm your sense of belonging to the Lamborghini family history.

Taking into consideration all the requests received, the registration closing date has been postponed to February 20,2016.

Please consider that we keep updating the program with more initiatives, like:

- the exhibition of Lamborghini tractors, which cover an important and fundamental part of the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum since the tractors represent Ferruccio's first successful project and
business.

-A visit to the original office of Ferruccio at the old tractors factory in Cento, which has been abandoned years ago and it has recently been restored.The participant to our event will be the first to see the restored office.

. During the Gala dinner, it will be served the Sangue di Miura wine , which you know was a label created by Ferruccio, great wine lover and connoisseur.

- The group will visit the MAGI art collection of Mr.Giulio Bargellini; during the lunch at his museum, Mr Bargellini will tell to the guests some anecdotes of his friendship with Ferruccio.

- The dinner at the former Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Dosso will be attended by several special guests, who will contribute to make the night unique for all the partecipants.

As you know, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini, his family is organising an event in Bologna area in April.

The program and the dates has been modified in order to meet people’s expectations, please discover the new program below.

It will be a unique & exclusive experience to share with Lamborghini family and many special guests.

Wednesday 27th april

Our guests will reach the appointed hotel in Bologna independently and our staff will welcome them, make the check in and register them for the event; they will be given the entire program of the event as well as a personal badge.
(it will be possible to take part to a buffet dinner in the hotel if desired : buffet will be open from 7 p.m to 10 p.m)

Thursday 28th april

9.00 After breakfast our guests will reach Palazzo del Vignola in Funo
di Argelato where they will be welcomed by the Lamborghini
Family and the program of the event will be illustrated.
A welcome drink will be served

11.00 We will leave for Ferrara , a city Ferruccio Lamborghini was
fondly bond to. Our guests will be received at the entrance of
Ferrara by the police and accompanied to Piazza del Castello in
the center of the city. Here all cars will be parked, of course
guarded. Flag -bearers of the contrada S.Maria in Vado in
typical costumes and the major will be glad to receive our guests.

13.00 Lunch will follow in the chambers of the castle
On our way back, we will pass by the Santa Maria in Vado
church were Ferruccio Lamborghini got married with Clelia.

16.00 Back to the hotel and relax time.

19.00 We will reach by bus the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in
Funo to take part in the Gala Dinner.

Our staff will receive the guests and accompany them to the
appointed tables.

Presentation of all different nationalities taking part in the
event which will witness the international character of the
Lamborghini Cars Clubs. Evening will start with a welcome
cocktail and follow with a typical Gala dinner of the best Italian
tradition. Check the detailed program of the Gala at the end of
the program.

24.00 approx. Back to the hotel

Friday 29th april

9.00 After breakfast transfer with all cars to S.Agata Bolognese.
Arrival and parade through the main street of S.Agata were the
major will be waiting for us. A guided visit to the production
plant of LAMBORGHINI AUTOMOBILI where we will be able
to see the different novelties.

12.00 We will start our way back and on the way, we will stop for
lunch at the MAGI exibition place where the owner, Mr Giulio
Bargellini friend of Ferruccio will tell us about some anecdocts of
the friendship with him.

15.00 Transfer to the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum and here we
will be delighted by guided visits to see all the pieces present in
the museum, many of these one-off (the whole industrial activity
of Ferruccio is represented here).
Back to the hotel for refreshing

18.30 Transfer to Bologna (with the cars or by bus)
We will reach Piazza Maggiore, the historical centre of Bologna
and have our dinner with candle lights at Palazzo Re Enzo, a
wonderful location overlooking the Neptune fountain

At the end, back to the hotel
Saturday 30th april

Both in the morning and in the afternoon the group will have the possibility of choosing the activities

9.00 After breakfast, options

1) transfer always accompanied by the police, to visit the
Carrozzeria Imperiale in Mirandola where all the Lamborghini cars are painted. Here there will be a guided visit
showing the different working processes
or
2) Transfer to Righini to see his very special private cars
collection. In an old small castle he has gathered antique cars and modern pieces, all perfectly working. The collection will be
opened specifically for the group.

12.30 The groups meet at Villa Casino Riva in Nonantola to have
lunch all together.

13.30 After lunch, options

1) transfer to the track in Msrzaglia for driving activities in the
afternoon. It will also be possible to have a parade for the
historical cars that do not wish to run. Detailed program with
the possibilities will be handed over
or
2) Departure with the cars to La Futa, the famous Italian hilly
road where many times the Lamborghini cars in the 60s & 70s have been tested. It is a circuit of 100 km going and 100 kms back. The panorama is magnificient and differently from the track, you experience here driving ability and curves.
The front car will be guided by Valentino Balboni who will also
keep controlled the speed of the group and all safety conditions.

The choosen options will have to be communicated to us absolutely quite in advance !!!

20.00 Bus transfer to Dosso, the original home of the first Ferruccio
Lamborghini Museum. Here we shall see historical films,
unpublished documents and relieve the early atmosphere
of this place which is still full of charme. The Dinner will be
served at the Museum. During the evening there will be a
CHARITY AUCTION WITH PERSONAL OBJECTS OF
FERRUCCIO LAMBORGHINI PUT AT DISPOSAL BY THE
FAMILY.

During the evening a souvenir/present will be given to all guests
to remember this important and unique event.

Friday 27th May:
10:30 Meeting and check in at Zagato – Via Arese 30 – Rho (MI); Visit Zagato’s Studio.
12:30 Buffet lunch in a typical nearby farmhouse.
14:15 Visit to Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera.
15:45 Visit to the Alfa Romeo Museum.
17:30 Departure for Turin.
20:30 Dinner at Relais “Locanda della Maison Verte” , Address: Via Rossi 34 – Cantalupa (TO)
Overnight at Relais “Locanda della Maison Verte”, a paradise of wellness on a hill in the surroundings of Turin.
Saturday 28th May:
9:00 Departure for Caprie in Val Susa. We will stop near the Bertone Design Centre where we will visit the Bertone collection, now owned by ASI. We will visit the collection there or at a different place if it has been moved to the new ASI premises. We will stop at the quarry where pictures of many Lamborghinis and of Bertone’s prototypes were taken over 40 years ago. You will have the possibility to immortalize your historic car, there, in those places full of magic which had been chosen by Bertone, perfect background for such futuristic creations.
13:00 Lunch at the cafeteria inside the Auto Museum (Mauto) in Turin. Surprise: special guests will join us to honour Ferruccio and Nuccio. A visit of the Museum will follow.
The historic cars will be parked in a reserved parking, they will be guarded.
Back to the Relais “Locanda della Maison verte”.
20:30 Dinner at a typical restaurant in the Pinerolese area

Sunday 29th May
09:15 We will leave the Relais “Locanda della Maison Verte” and the historic cars will be driven on a tour during which we will run alongside the castle in front of which the very first Countach LP500 prototype, the yellow one, was immortalized. It was hard to find that special place, but we managed!
11:00 We will drive to Cantalupa, a lovely village in the Pinerolo area where we will be welcomed by the authorities and by the people living there. There will be parade of the historic cars along the village roads after which they will be parked in a guarded parking

13:00 Lunch at a typical restaurant “Tre Denti” in Cantalupa.

15:30 End of the meeting, farewell.

The Lamborghini owners will be given a special card which will make them members of the “community” the Lamborghini historic cars.
Accommodation is not included in the price. Hotel to be booked and paid for directly by the participants.

Participation costs Euro 270 per person (lunches, dinners, parking surveillance service and visits to the Museums is included). Hotel accommodation is not included.
