Anyone know who might be the new dealer in Vegas, assuming there's going to be one now that Lambo Las Vegas is closed?

They closed? I thought it was only the "Vegas strip" store that closed.

Are you referring to the Lambo store/museum at the Venetian? We were there Saturday and they were open.

I believe (don't know for a fact) that Lambo corporate is partially on the hook for that lease so I think they are keeping it open. It has gone through various stages of open/not open over the past couple months.

The store on Dean Martin is pretty much cleared out....maybe 5 cars in there.....offices all cleaned out.....

LaJolla maybe, maybe...will besole survivor....rumor is: "Silicon Valley is on life support with a drop dead date of momentarily." As stated by people in Monterey during auctions, actually, it was pure gossipo-but plentiful....where there is smoke????

This morning on the way to work I spotted a yellow 4x4 pulling a loaded trailer up the long grade to Mountain Pass, CA. Both the truck and the trailer were sporting Lambo of LV signage......looked to be moving one of the remaining cars to the coast.

Lamborghini wants a presence in Vegas. My guess would be Penske because he recently purchased the Lambo store in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Or maybe one of the bigger California dealers might be interested.

Penske did not purchase the Lambo store in Scottsdale. The Lambo dealer lost the franchise and it was awarded to the Penske group. The old Lambo dealer continues in business at his location at Hayden and Raintree as an exotic and high line used car dealer. He may still be the Spyker dealer, but that must be the loneliest job on the planet other than being the Koenigsegg dealer.

Alex, you never fail to crack me up! Why did Motorsports lose the franchise?

I'd like to thank the credit bubble years for all these great cars and the dealerships that were clinging to the bottle rocket. Mainly 'cause most of them had great pics on their websites!

I just downloaded the new set Symbolic took of the Monterrey Blue LP640 Roadster that Lambo LV once had.

SVAG used to have good pics then they switched to that stupid flash presentation...

Makes me wonder how long Sport Auto has to go. I lived an hour away for 5 years and never drove by.

    LOL!

I have a feeling Sport Auto will be hanging around for a while. Steve Barney is a much smarter businessman than the typical exotic car peddler.

Update: Apparently Findlay is buying the franchise.
