Note the three roof vents of the car top left, one of five, probably 15000.
Those with the external fillers are pre-production.

 

The pre-production cars were shown at Turin in November 1970 but the earliest production cars were completed in 1972...

 

Now I understand what you are getting at! It is the Bertone captions that say 1970!
More importantly the date on the reverse is absolutely correct!
The pre-production cars had two long roof vents similar to the Miura and external fillers - October 1970
The first five 'trial' production cars had three roof vents similar to the Espada - October 1972. The top left pic and the third pic down on the left are 15000
The production cars had two roof vents
Remember too that both versions of the sales brochure featured only the pre-production cars!

 

i have the urraco plus the Fortek silhouette and countach one too.... they came from a swiss annual mag

I posted this 5 years ago. In the mean time I found an interview with Tonino Lamborghini in which he mentions the foreign sales manager in question at 6:18, I've met Mr. Carpeggiani on several occasions when I was a kid. A very charismatic, flamboyant man with a passion for fast cars. I recently found out he past away in 2013.

No, my upload Limit is reached, it's the one with the Giesse Boat (2nd last row max left), the one right (line up with the three guys in fron) and the very last one with the silver diablo (last row max right).

Strange item I found. Lamborghini News magazine, it is undated but based on its content it should be from late 1987 or early 1988. The seller said it should be considered issue #0. Perhaps Lamborghini just made this magazine, and then the original series began in 10/1989 with #1.

There is one article that is about the 1000th Countach built; which is said to be a black/champagne QV that was finished 15/12/1986, delivered to a US customer
