Thought to myself yesterday, when I saw one ,a fab looking green car. MMmnn I wonder what a buzz one of these would be to ride or drive in. I've ridden in a Gallardo and that blew me away. Anyone driven/ridden in a Murciellago? care to share the experience?
No where torquing Lambo not Fazz. I've always like Lambos for there out in your face styling, colours and the motors of the early V12 cars .
Rob, This my favorite video of the Murciellago; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJTU0qnZyIQ You will see the rear air scoops up as the added air cools the engine compartment. They are quite the car. I consider them the Auto-Union, of cars today. Ciao...Paolo
a short 10 mins in MHH's LP640. What a buzz, the noise, the feel, the whole experience was amazing! the Murcie is much more refined than the Diablo or Countach, better driver definately. since the replacement will be out soon, gut feel is this will be the last traditional supercar ever! buy one and keep it imo! a 02, 03 murcie is priced good.
Yeah, maybe if you live in America! Not too many people can step into a 2002 $300K+ Murcie here mang!
considering a LP640 is close to 500k, and a decent diablo is about $250k, i think its priced about right. if ferraris and lambos are priced like the USA, we'd have them running around EVERYWHERE!
Didn't know there was a VI in Australia. The very first ones into the country was green but it was thought to have left after a while. Where was it?
Nice to hear that ones around. Only knew of the VI Gallardo spider in Melb (with the horrible wheels). As for driving, I drove a Gallardo a few years back, but only recently got to drive a Murcielago. I was really surprised at how easy it was to put around in. I drove on the highways and through the city, and it was simply everywhere. Mind you it was an egear which makes things easy. Make it easy when you can't really be in the wrong gear as every one is tractable at any speed pretty much. Even had to reverse at one stage and that isn't as daunting as you would think.
I'm a Porsche boy,but there not in the same exotic league as a lambo,i don't even think a ferrari is.
I'm biased but it was pretty funny watching people on the side of the road spinning around. They do just stand out that much more.
