Who will be attending this Saturday?
Unfortunately, I wont be able to make it. I had really hoped to, but, alas....family events take priority. Not to mention graduation stuff. Have fun!! I know I did last year.
I attended this event a few years ago. Unfortunately the field had been rained out and the match was played on golf carts lol. It was actually very interesting to watch. Seeing a bunch of Lamborghinis and other exotics in a line down the field is amazing. Wish I could go this Saturday, but I don't have the time to make it up to Dallas. Have fun Rob
I will be attending again this year...it was fun last year. You are pretty close to the field so like hockey, watch for flying objects.
If I can get past security, I'll probably drop by as well. Didn't get to attend last year, but went the year before (the golf cart year), and had a good time. Ended up at MiCoccina with a group from LoD after, and met my new friend, the Mambo Taxi (I think we met three or four times that evening, actually).
No, the cars were not parked in the shade last year. They are parked back away from the polo field in some grass and brought out for a line up at the end of the match.
I WOULD LOVE TO GO BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THERE. CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME DDIRECTIONS FROM BACHMAN LAKE ON NOTH WEST HWY.

I went last year and ran into a friend of mine I hadnt seen in years that grew up playing polo. Its a nice time to spend on a Saturday afternoon especially if you have never seen a polo match.
Jerry and I will be there and also the Rippie's will be in attendance. Always a great time, this will be our third year.
I got a 5X7 card from LOD that looks like general admission and lists a phone number for VIP. Am I missing something?
Got the same card, does VIP mean SHADE?! I hate baking my fragile italian surfaces in 100 degree heat all day. I know the new cars aren't much affected, but older models really don't like this. Why not tents, or a stand of trees? Anything.
This is also our first year in attendance, looking forward to the afternoon. Weather forecast is another record for this year--maybe 98 or higher and probably little wind.
Two years ago Javier's was a sponsor, and had a margarita bar running all day! It is going to be a scorcher. I just drove back from the shop with the top down, and it is just at the point of still being bearable right now. In a couple of hours it is going to be really toasty! Break out the sunscreen and drink lots of water, folks! See you all there.
A good time was had by all in attendance.
