Strangely the car is slightly growing on me a few days later.. Colors choice change everything. The new V12 NA is obviously a decisive advantage. I guess the car will weight two tons in the real life with all the fluids.. First test will be interesting.
I'm telling you guys this car is the real deal. Lots of new developments and fast. I think it is a big leap forward.
Tech wise, I agree it's revolutionary for the brand. Everything is new. But style wise, it breaks no new ground and just looks like an updated aventador. Its like Porsche does with 911.
How can Lamborghini break new ground though? It still has to follow the lineage of the LP700 and previous V12's.
true but i was only talking about advancement of aventador styling over the murci. it managed to do that while still staying true to older lambo styling themes which is difficult task nothing about engineering or performance.
Received my final spec today, the only request I made was black wheels which was confirmed and I was told the shift peddles will be in carbon. I wouldn't say that. The Murci shares the chassis with the Diablo. The biggest leap could be the 350gt to the Miura. The leap from the Murci to the Aventadore was a massive jump forward also..Carbon tub..but old gearbox which I never understood. This lambo..another jump forward with the engine layout.. I guess the LP prefix is now gone. But maybe not..engine is still longitudinal..gearbox is transverse. Neat car over all..but just to similar to the Aventadore. And much too close to the C8 vette and he McLarens.
Saw it at factory premiere. Loved seeing the SCV12 Essenzas all parked outside. Image Unavailable, Please Login What is your over/under for how many versions there will be of the Revuelto?
Well. . . . The comment prior by sldriver was to state that “better than anything Ferrari has come out with in years” So beauty is subjective. I countered that I thought Ferrari had done very well with the SP3. Strangley, I did not compare to Lambo’s new model. Not sure how you’ve managed to relate my comment in this respect. And yes. If you have the money you will be able to buy a SP3 at some stage as there will always be sellers. In fact, its the buyers of the LP800 (I won’t call it a Countach, as its not imho) That may be pi55ed. They’ve purchased an Aventador parts bin special for over 2M and then Lambo brings out the new model for 1\4 of the price that is more powerful and advanced. Lambo took them for one hell of a ride on their cash cow. In fact, apart from the SP3 i too don’t think Ferrari has done great designs for some time.
Sam seem to love the new Revuelto after seeing it in person and both Sam and Tony are massive Ferrari fans...
