Grey folder, with the large Lamborghini lettering & bull printed in black on it. The inside consists of 7 full size printed pages. Four of these, with the Lamborghini USA Technical printed letterhead, and 3 pages of detailed information from Royal Carriage Works at My Garage Inc. (Denver), making application to become a authorized Lamborghini SERVICE CENTER! The 4 pages detail what Lamborghini will do if you are selected, signs, tools, training, reimbursement for warranty work, commissions if a person buys a Lambo thru your shop, and much more. It mentions that if your chosen to become one of the "elite" Service Dealer's, your shop & facilities shall be highly promoted including full page ads in periodicals as: "Road & Track, Ferrari Market Newsletter, Car & Driver, the Wall Street Journal, and Autoweek, along with other magazines that Lamborghini of North American shall choose for said promotions. The cost was $7500.00 if your shop was approved. The other 3 pages are an actual application, as mentioned. The dealer listed annual sales of over 4.5 million dollars, had to list several exotic owner's & the cars they were taking care of (among those listed, a 69' Ghibli, 2, 1980 Merak's, 2 1980 4-porte's, and a 82' 4 porte. Lamborghini mentions their current production cars at the time, the Countach, & Jalpa, so I believe this literature is from the early-mid '80's. The name on the Lamborghini USA Technical business card, is Louie McAlpine, U.S. Service Engineer, 1712 S. E. 1st, Des Moines IA, U.S.A. . In the later 1980's, I met a Louie McAlpine in Tulsa Oklahoma ( the same person?), and bought from him, a 3 foot diameter lighted Lamborghini factory sign(sold it about 3 years ago), all his personal Lambo hand tools (sold those to Howard Dehaven yrs ago, at the time Howard owned a Miura), a Maserati factory bicycle, and other bits and pieces. Rarity of this piece of literature? Could not have been very many shops that even applied to Lamborghini North America to become authorized service centers. I have owned a LOT of exotic car literature, this has to be the most unusual item by far, I have ever had. Very neat & unique, the folder & pages are in very good/excellent condition! Sorry to ramble on so long, it took a lot of words, to try to explain this folder & contents. Pictures, I took several pictures(the daughter got tired of doing these items for me), pm me, with your phone number, and I will (attempt) to get them sent to you, she may still have to help me operate this phone to send them! Price: $200.00, including shipping AND full insurance. U.S. sales, ONLY. Payment: money order, cashier's check, or for subscribed F-Chatter's, your personal check is always welcome. Thanks for looking. P.S., I always send a email with the tracking number, the day the package is shipped.
