Our low mile 1991 Red over Black Lamborghini Diablo crossed RM last night with a final selling/Hammer price of $200K on the nose with buy fees. It was an all there complete excellent example of a Diablo
Congrats on the sale. I recall a $170,000 hammer plus fees at $190,400 - correct me if I’m wrong. It looked like a very nice car.
Your number is correct...excited and using a I phone calculator with ft fingers never works out. If anyone is INTERESTED I just got in its EXACT twin. Red over tan. ONE owner from new, 5708 KMS! All tools, books, both keys, service records, going to be putting new tires on it and a full 15K major service before it goes to a new home, Contact me if interested. The Orange 6.0 at RM was a no sale with HIGH bid of $260K..which means with fees it was worth $286K to some one...it still may sale as they were working with the buyer/seller post block. My Black 91 Diablo crosses BJ tonight at about 5PM, no reserve, lets see what it does, as well as my 08 Gallardo Spyder around same time no reserve as well.
My car as well. I did not lift the reserve on it, no sale as of now..but still working. The $340 would only net me about $315K...I want $330K for it..if not, take it home, such a special car that can NOT be replaced.

I like it, supercool appointment and a nice touch IMHO, it reminds me of the special-order clock fitments in the 60s & 70s such as the Jaeger clock installed in Gianni Agnelli's Ferrari 375 America (below) or, more relevantly, the TAG Heuer items fitted in the Shah of Iran's Miura SVJ and Albert Silvera's Countach LP400. No doubt a whimsical option which would not really be used, but a beautiful piece of jewelry to look at which I'd rather have than not. I also thought this particular Bianco/Bianco Diablo was a nice deal for the buyer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Roy you gotta stop typing and doing math on your cell phone!! What are your numbers for the 6 speed Murcie? And I missed the BJ Diablo, it had to be way before 5pm I always look forward to seeing you and Jonathan on tv Good Luck Kev
I'm astonished that the 350 GTs aren't trading at higher prices. Taking into account that the the 350 GT was the first model sold to clients and the fact that only about 120 were produced it's still a bargain in my opinion. I haven't seen this example but according to the description it was recently restored and we all know how much such a restoration can cost.
+1.....These cars are absolutely gorgeous. These and the Miura are the most pure looking Lamborghinis.
Don't get me wrong, I like it as well. But at 10.5K USD in the early '90s, it was very expensive compared to other Diablo options. With only 21 cars having the chronometer and considering the mileage, I am surprised that the car didn't even sell for a premium.
So its not only cool and beautiful, but rare, I like it even more now, as I did not know that just 21 cars had this appointment. I wouldn't worry about what prices some of these cars are bringing currently, as IMVHO there are a number of models and variants that are nowhere near their true potential at this point. I think the current buyer scored.
Agreed! Great car and great buy. I would have bought it myself but I don’t need another 0 mile Diablo!
