I would like to get a Lamborghini contingent .Maybe even a team
to Compete in the Sept race.
I've run this course 5 or 6 times. Its a real blast ...and its` legal!

also the day before `the race is usually the one mile run.
This is at 6000 feet so my stock Gallardo only ran 149 mph
last time out. I expect the turbo will top 180 easy this time around
    and beat the supercharged Viper.

    Any questions..post them..lets get a group togerther!

With the exception of Rick and his F-40 the Ferraris RARELY
show up and aren't a factor.

OK so I see that the idea for driving for 34 0r 35 minutes
and averaging over 150 mph for 90 miles is not very
popular with Lambo owners? It isn't with F car owners either.
IT IS with Viper,Porsche, and Corvette owners they all field teams (10 or more cars)

Not that it will make any difference but I'll pay $100 towards
your entry fee if you run your Lambo in Sept.

I swear once you try this performance venue you'll be hooked

I think this sounds like a hoot and a wonderful way to view that part of the country. At high speed.

I am working on getting my wingman to commit. I'll know next week.

Probably a good idea to have co-pilot first time out.
My last 2 have been solo.

in order to not hampered by rules..1st timers need to show
proof of some prior race experience so they don't put you in slow class
I did this and ran 150 target 165 tech speed on my first attendance.

Wayne, I read the FAQ and don't understand this completely. Are they looking for a current comp license, a stamped NASA HPDE book or what? In the absense of that what will they limit you to? Thanks.

you can give them race driving school completion, track license
SCCA, even race results. they are just covering their butt legally.
I gave them VRL license,Justin Bell driving school,Bob bondrant scholl
    etc.

I'm not sure of current rules since they replaced Gary Patterson
as race director. If you are margnal I'll help you out.

It is a pain to be limited to even 145 tech speed.I had to do that once when my
rollcage for my 996 tt didn't get installed in time. I ran anyhow
    mostly on cruise control!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NEVER drive that slow again!!!

It seems loose but having a "friend" will help. I'm not going to worry about it. Right now I'll just focus on the schedule and a co-pilot.

Wayne, You got me revved up about this event but I think I'm going to let you down. I'm going to take my Porsche track car. Big engine and very light weight (1980lbs) but the main reason is the safety gear. Full cage, fire system and 5 pts. Tom
