Just quickly, I spotted a Mercielago LP640 Roadster on Sunday. I live in Fremantle, Western Australia, and it was cruising down the coast past Leighton Beach. (And I thought my GT40 was wide!) Colour was light metalic grey, and had model specific plates. Perfect weather for a drive. Do we know of the owner? Sorry, no pics.
28pics : www.ozcarsightings.com/lamborghini-museum-and-gallardo-lp560-4.php Final proper update from Euro land (street/Nurburgring sightings to go). We rocked up at the Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata at 8am on a Monday to pick up our two new Gallardo LP560-4's. Two days to do as we pleased so after a look around the factory/museum we headed 400km to Val d'Aosta for our overnight stay - some of the worlds best scenery and roads awaiting us. Never really setup for a photoshoot, just took pics where we stopped....too much fun driving. The Gallardo has to be the most usable day to day supercar, just so easy to drive yet so much fun. Brutal acceleration with the newest version of the e-gear 'box and one of the worlds best soundtracks to boot (especially in 3km long tunnels)! The only downside is the horrible brakes (we tried both steel and ceramic), absolutely no feel.....press the pedal and you get nothing, so you push harder which in turn slams your head into the wheel. Seems to be a common complaint so not sure why it hasn't been fixed. The passion of the Italian people is amazing, everyone stops for a chat, waves or beeps their horn in appreciation of the cars. Oh and the pizza is beyond description! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
