There are far better places to go to on the net for info on the Evo. Loads of material that you don't have to look hard for -> google.

My brother owned a Series 1 Integrale, the one with I think 204 bhp. It was the car that I broke my first laws in when I got my license! The day I got my license I did 120pmh in it.

What an awesome car! I still have very fond memories of it, and so does my brother. At the time he thought it was expensive to service and run, but he hadn't had his 328GTS by then so I think everything is relative. You need a guy who really knows these cars, though, they are quite demanding.

The kick in the back at 100mph when you dropped back to 4th and the turbo kicked in is something I will not forget in a hurry. After a year or so, he had his car rechipped at a specialist, and I CANNOT tell you how it transformed! My GOD! With the new engine management it delivered 240 bhp, but crucially the turbo kicked in at much lower revs (around 3000 instead of 5000 if I remember correctly). It made the car SO much quicker, it was scary. His 328 could never touch it for speed and ability.

Just thinking about the car brings a smile to my face - if you have a chance to buy done, do so!!

In fact, maybe I should get one as well! I'm still looking for a practical car next to my 550, this may be a great option.

Tell me more about it, actually I am looking in to a 92 which is a evo, apparently it is much wider and has about 225 hp. As you said they can be tweeked up to as much as 270 hp. I also have a 328 but you can't drive it everyday.

    Hi Members!
I am writing from Hungary Europe! So i own a Delta HF Turbo 1.6 injezione Martini Limited edition and a Monza Red Delta Integrale 8V Kat.
Since i bought them many of my friends tld me i waste my time on them but i can tell you in that time when these cars came out to the market
was the only thing first to produce a small series from a big manufacture company to have the cars for the real fanatics, but also the léatest and
greatest technological plus included. Delta won the car of the year award in when it has been first launched.
I can truly say to you guys ower there, in 1991 the Testarossa and the Delta EVO did the same lap time on Monza Race Track!!! Quiet a big advantage for
a small rally road legal car... and what more take a look at the champs done in World rc series 6 times world champion :) noone did it before and till today.
I think these few things are only words from the car but the real adventure is own and maintaine one, and this is the greatest feeling i we ever had before!!!
    Scuderia Integrale!

    With motorsport regards!

Don't buy one until you have been on Delphi forums, do a search on there it's called evocorner, this has full buying guides and everything about specific model differences. They also have a website evocorner.net, where there are a few forsale.

I have owned several over the last few year's and will certainly be buying one again in the near future, you are in a strong position at the moment as they seem pretty difficult to sell as the same ones have been hanging around for the last few months, so some sellers will definately do a deal. Avoid over priced Evo 2's and low mileage examples as they (although not all) are just not worth the money they want and will be forsale for the forseable future.

    HF 4WD 1986-87 165 BHP
    8V INTEGRALE 87-89 185 BHP
    16V INTEGRALE 89-91 200 BHP
    8V CAT (16 VALVE BODY) 89-91 185BHP
    EVO 1 91-92 16 VALVE 210BHP
    EVO 2 92-94 16 VALVE CAT 215 BHP
