Any suggestions to contact for post-war Italian dash gauge restorations? Would like "Pebble Beach quality" only......
This is above and beyond re-silkscreening and rechroming......
Not limited to the US if the person is the best....

    TIA,
    James

Omicorn Engineering in the UK are long established and world recognised. I have read about them many times over the years. They often contribute articles on restorations to several classic car magazines.

Kind of off subject I have been a Lancia fan for many years. I search Ebay and other online classifieds and seldom find Lancias especially on the east coast. Does anyone have any pointers? I love Appias and Aurelias.

If you join the American Lancia Club, you will meet some cordial people who are happy to share the enthusiasm and help you out, and will likely find out about more and better cars for sale. It seems to me that a lot of Lancias trade hands privately, before an ad is ever placed. Walt Spak is a great guy to know for the Eastern U.S. He is in Pittsburgh, IIRC.

does anyone hav a lancia delta integrale? (evolution 1)
if so, wat they like to drive, and is maintaining them hugely costly?
there is a car locally that is in a bad way, it has done nothing but sit on the owners drive for the past 12 months that i know of and can remember. not masively knowledgable on this, and dont hav the finances on my own to buy such a car, but if i were to put in an offer for it, wat would be an adviseable figure? (£) and would it be double that figure again to restore it, or more?

    Hi David,

The web sites Tony listed are excellent. However a search for a *nice* and available Appia, Aurelia, Flaminia or Fulvia can take a quite long time especially if one's limits are within the lower 48 USA. But hey some fun can be in the hunt too. Happy holidays!

    Tim

P.S. According to a Lancista located in the UK, and my cousins who reside in Italy, computer usage amongst the general public there has dramatically increased over the past several years so there appears to be a wider selection of Lancia cars and spare parts, even over say two years ago, currently on e-bay. You may want to check out e-bay.it & e-bay.uk for some possible leads on cars. HTH.
