One of the most exciting cars I own. Here are a few more pics for you (not my car). Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just got an 037 stradale. I've only driven it once but it was awesome! Got me thinking about a Stratos. Then that got me thinking of S4's. It's a disease!
Amazing car, though I have not had the pleasure of driving an 037. If you drive a Stratos, you will be hooked; it is a disease for certain!
New Stratos images released Lancia Stratos Official Images Released German millionaire Michael Stoschek's life should now be complete, as he has taken delivery of his stunning Lancia Stratos after a very long wait. The car was built by Italian supercar coachbuilders and designers Pininfarina, at their plant in Turin. The whole project took them two years of development and manufacturing to complete. The New Stratos is built on the underpinnings of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia, but has been radically modified. As a result, even though the car has been delivered to its owner, the performance figures will only be revealed to the public at a later date. Just like the old Stratos that used a V6 engine from the Dino, this new one will also be powered by a Ferrari engine, the 90 degree 4,300 cc V8 engine in the F430. The donor chassis was shortened by 20 cm (8 inches) in order to achieve the rally bread, short wheelbase look the Stratos is known for. Despite the addition of a FIA-certified roll cage and air conditioning (at the customer’s demand), the car is actually 80 kg (176 lbs) lighter than the Ferrari. The 4.3-liter engine has received a new engine management system that, together with the new exhaust, will bring power somewhere in the region of 550 hp. The new Stratos’ suspension features dampers with electric calibration that is adjustable from the steering wheel, just like in most professional sports cars. The car rides on 19-inch wheels, wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires (265/30 front, 315/30 back), and uses high performance Brembo ceramic brakes to stop. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does not get any more beautiful than that. Now I know that is a one off from reading the article, but why could we not get something similar here in the 4C price range. That is to die for...
Just insane...what does that sound and acceleration feel like?? The dude in the white/red - was a hell of a driver!
Yes he was! The sound is incredible. It's a very throaty growl. The car feels very light and pulls strong when you step on it.

Ok John, that really is THE one, damn, with gold wheels too, killing me. I'm sick for the blues. EVERY car looks best in blue, to me anyway.
