I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A LANCIA STRATOS, IF ANYBODY KNOWS ONE FOR SALE IN THE STATES , PLEASE SEND ME A PM. FINDERS FEE GLADLY PAID
There is a contributor to f-chat from time to time by the name Stratos, he is Swiss and has a Stratos and is quite knowledgable about them. He could be a valuable resource for you. Good hunting, they are a very desirable car and very fast. Best regards Gary
The Imperial Palace auto collection here in Las Vegas has one. See it here: http://www.autocollections.com/index.cfm?key=1106&action=details&tab=inventory Note: I have no affiliation with the auto collection; I noticed the car when I visitied in January (along with this Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato). http://www.autocollections.com/index.cfm?key=1390&action=details&tab=inventory I will take the Zagato as my finders fee.
I know of these cars, the one is sold and the other is not the car I want, maybe somebody knows a privat seller. Thanks TOTO70_0
I have also been looking for one in the US. Whats up with the one at the palace as you don't seem interested in it? I ask because I was but they were very reluctant to tell me much about it and didn't seem that interested in selling so I didn't bother to fly out there to look at it. Figured something wasn't quite right.
Hello, Anyone who would like to buy a Lancia Stratos should contact me. I have 2 Stradale and 1 group 4 for sale. Best regards. Florent MOULIN [email protected]
Hello, If you want for details about these fabulous cars then visit my web site. www.florentmoulin.com The cars above are not figuring in but if you visit the "Events" section you'll find a complete report about the Monte Carlo I raced last year with a GR4. Good visit. Florent
If you'd like info on building a Hawk HF Lancia Stratos replica, get in touch with me. I can give you the lowdown. Don't let it being a replica throw you off as it is one of the most authentic "copy" out there. Hawk supplies replacement parts to original owners as the body work and most suspension is identacle infit form and function. It can be powered by Fiat/Lancia twin cams, Alfa V6's, Ferreari 246 V6, or.. as the one I have under construction...a Ferrari 308 / 328. Car is incredibly light at about 1800 lbs wet. Gerry Hawkridge has asked me to be his US agent/contact person JD
Full kit with all the options will run at around $20000 (exchange rate dependent) once import duties and freight weigh in. Still would need donor bits from various Fiats and Lancias and componentry like brakes / hydraulics, cooling..etc to complete besides the drivetrain.. add about $1500 for a Lancia Beta, $4500 or so for the Alfa V6 & trans, $10k+ for Ferrari & trans. YMMV depending on where you source them and if you decide to rebuild before installation. Depending on your skills and outsourced labor look at 200 to 400 man-hours to complete JD
the hawk car is really quite a package. i have pictures of on e i had considered several years ago. to me it was as good or better tan the real thing as it could be driven super hard w/o the remorse of beating up on the real thing. w/ the 3.0 alfa, it would be a rocket and a real screamer!!!
