Has anybody checked this out/driven it yet? It is the replacement for the Discovery. I am in need of a new all purpose vehicle, to replace an AWD Chrysler minivan (which, truth be told, I love--primarily because of the 160+ cubic feet of storage with no seats). Replacement issues include the new DC minivans having no AWD, and the only AWD van choice (Toyota Sienna) leaving me strangely unmoved (even on a minivan scale) AND the whole van segment suffers from a lack of BHP.

I was able to crawl through a Euro version, and it seems nice enough. Plus I really like that you can achieve a flat load floor, though the cubic feet is down from the van.

    Hey Scott...

I got to check out the LR3 back in August. I was quite impressed - logical evolution to the Disco with many nice touches and improvements. Definitely a better choice over a minivan for "us carguys".

I believe the Chrysler Pacifica comes with an AWD option which might meet some of your criteria. Although, definitely not the BHP aspect.
