So...my 1993 348 had the seats replaced with f355 berlinetta seats prior to my ownership. I have shoulder straps coming from the middle and connecting to the door side, but no lap belts. I do have seatbelt receivers on the inside (near the transmission tunnel) for a lap belt to connect. What are my options, oh wise and powerful 348/355 experts?

Jeff: You might try ssnake-oyl.com. There have been several favorable comments on here about them for seatbelt restoration or replacement. They might be able to fabricate a regular one-piece lap and shoulder seatbelt for you and assist with a means to secure the lapbelt on the transmission tunnel side. Please post to let us know the results. On my '95 Spider the "mice" have died plus one of my seat belt latches has a broken cover so I'm considering modernizing to a one-piece lap and shoulder belt.
