I have 38 different castings of Ferraris in 1:64th from various companies. Does anyone have any others that I'm not aware of?

    Fiat 166 (?) Ferrari predecessor-HW (Hot Wheels)
    Phil Hill “Sharknose” race car-HW
    Testa Rossa pontoon fendered-HW
    250 GTO-Maisto
    512 prototype w/ top canopy windsheild roof-HW
    312 Can Am race car-HW
    512 Can Am race car-HW/Sizzler
    330 P4 racer-HW
    Dino coupe-Majorette
    Daytona-HW
    312 Formula One-Majorette
    512 BBI Boxer-Tomica
    308 GTB-HW
    308 GTB-Tomica
    308 GTS-Corgi/HW
    288 GTO-Majorette
    ‘80’s Testarossa-HW
    328 GTB-HW
    F-40-HW
    348 GTB-HW
    355 GTB-HW
    355 spider-HW
    355 Challenge racer-HW
    512 Testarossa
    456-HW
    550-HW
    P 333 racer-HW
    F-50 open-HW
    F-50 closed-HW
    360 Modena-HW
    F-310B-Micro Champs
    2001 Formula One Schmui-HW
    360 Spider-Matchbox
    Enzo-HW
    "Modified" Enzo-HW
    "Modified" 360 Challenge-HW
    575 GTC racer
"Exagerated" 360 Modena in clear red plastic-HW

The most recent odd one I found was the 360 Spider in dark grey or bright yellow. It is Matchbox (which is owned by rival Mattel of Hot Wheels fame) and the casting just screams "odd" looking...windsheild is a tad too big. Not as nice as some of the Hot Wheels ones

Matchbox also did the 1988 and 1995 F1 cars, and a 250 Lusso and 'Sharknose' F1 back in the 1960s.

    Siku did the 1996 F1 F300.

Polistil did the 312B3, 312T5, and many others IIRC.

    Pilen did the 312T4.

Corgi/Husky did the 512S and 250LM (road version with glazed fastback).

And there are loads of specialised rare Japanese ones.

Umm... just so you know... Mattel owns both Hot Wheels and Matchbox. ;)

I have well over 200 1:64 scale Ferrari's at last count. I would have to sit down and look at all of them to say what models are represented though as I can not recall off the top of my head.

I have well over 150 unique hotwheels if you count differing colors and wheel combinations. I have about 50 different Kyosho 1/64s (all different models, not variations), Yatming has a couple including a nice 512BB, Summer made a few as well as Kidco, Golden Wheels, Tin Toys, Penny, Speedy, Mini-Dinky, Siku, Playart, Tomica, Zee, Corgi, Ertl, Maisto, Johnny Lightning, Marks and I am sure several others. I have a very nice collection of 1/64 scale Ferraris. Some of them can get expensive as well as very hard to find. My favorite is probably the Mini-Dinky or some of the wonderful Kyoshos. It is really hard to choose. Definately check out http://www.breithaupts.com/toycar.html It is a great webzine, I look forward to every issue.

Over 200 cars.....O.K., maybe I should be more clear. I meant different castings. I have MANY more (diff colors, diff sizes, etc..), but I just wanted to see what other car castings I don't have might be out there.

I picked up some good ones recently... (All HW, btw)

    333SP (2000 First Editions, #11 of 36 cars) - eBay
"Tooned" Lamborghini Countach, orange (2004 First Editions, 79/100) - Walgreens
Lamborghini Murcielago "Roll Patrol" - Walgreens
Maserati Quattroporte (2004 First Editions, 29/100) - Walgreens
    Ferrari 308 (Final Run, 3/5) - Albertson's

I also picked up a Corvette C6 (actually a really decent looking car in 1/64) and a "Star Spangled" 1963 Corvette Coupe - also cool.

Anyway, not a bad find for an otherwise ho-hum trip to the drugstore/grocery store! I thought some of you might be interested in the "Final Run" 308, so I wanted to make sure I got it posted here.

I'm still searching for that blue 512S, though - can't seem to find one!

It is a new casting just now hitting stores. I have 10 or 11 of them already so they will not be in short supply. A few of mine have already taken the stripper bath too. ;)

But see, you have 10 or 11 - I have 0. The stores in my area just don't seem to have 'em (yet), but I'll keep looking. For the price, 1/64HW just can't be beat!

Yes they are extremely nice. They actually issued a set of all red cars that were different dies than the picture you posted. Then this set came out in 2003 and late last year they issued a new set with the F430 and 612 and a few others. I have one of every different model they issued. They also have an F1 set that was out late 2003 and a new one that just started this last december. I have them as well. I made a contact in 2003 when the first set was issued, that lives in Japan and he picks them up for me. The problem with them is that when he buys them the box does not indicate which car he is buying (like baseball cards) so he just has to keep buying till he gets a complete set or finds a particular model you are looking for. This plus the limited run makes them expensive. There are actually some prize issues that were very limited that I have never seen (330P4 and 360 Spider), but he claims they go for over $100USD in Japan.

Check out this address http://www.kyosho-minicar.com/fmc2/index.html at the bottom you can see all the minicar sets they have issued.

The pictures are from the first set.

Im not sure if they are available at the local stores, maybe a good Hobby Store ??. I ordered a few online (last year or so) let me see if I can track down the online store.

Dogue may have an update of where you can get them.

Again they are very pricey especially since they aren't making them anymore, but you can always email the guy I buy from Sugawara [email protected] he is a great guy. I have a Black F40 if anyone wants it, it is assembled. I just don't think the black is that attractive, plus it hides a lot of details.

I know Wal-Mart has the HW F430 open one with bronze wheels and one with silver wheels as well as a red 512M.
