An old aquaintance of mine lives across the street from him. He's got about 50 gawdy statues in his front yard....along with a pack of Rottweilers.

I know who you are talking. Ran in 1984 against Reagan and has been to the Supreme Court a few times. A major whale in Las Vegas.

 

I grew up in Cincinnati, so Flynt was all over the local media. He really wasn't shunned like you would think. He wasn't treated like a saint, but he was acknowledged as a businessman.

 

There was a film about him, wasn't it Woody Harrelson who played him?

Did more research, his businesses bring in $150 million in revenue a year and is said to be worth $400 million (can a $150 million-revenue-a-year business be worth that much?)
