    That was GREAT! Ella Fitzgerald! Red Skelton! George Burns! My parents took me to see Red Skelton in Vegas in 1967 or '68. :)

    Saw Ella many years later in Austin. :D

    This just dropped on Youtube. The first third is a home color movie of Las Vegas in 1955. Very rare. Most of Vegas then was Fremont Street. The Sahara of course still exists on its site but the El Rancho is now where Fontainbleu is.

    Vegas Vick still exists on Fremont street but he no longer moves.

    But I live in the upscale part of town.
