Las Vegas Motor Speedway *spoiler*

Craftsman truck race is about to start - it's on Speed. Buddy Lazier and Jacques Villeneuve are in this one. Jacques starts 7th in Tundra truck #27. He dropped to 14 when they showed the placings at lap 3 of 146. Lazier is running 32.

We spent the day at NHR AO'Riley Fall Nationals - some absolutely fantasting racing. Close points for championships. Tomorrow is going to be awesome. I think it's on ESPN. Melanie is apparently going from top fuel to funny car next year.

I didn't watch but a couple minutes of the truck race. After spending all day in the sun at the NHRA races, I was slightly baked and tired so I retired early. So, no I didn't see the JPM Dodge commercial.

Can't wait for Petit - some fantastic racing for sure. Dario is driving for AGR instead of Marino who usually drives with Herta. Robbie Kerr is going to be with Highcroft along with regulars Stephan and David. MC-12's only two drivers as same with many other teams. Patrick Long driving for Penske in one of the Spyders. The backmarker Vipers will be there. P1 has 7 entries as I recall. The 2008 season will be announced at Petit - anxious for that. Got an email from Detroit to request to be on list for reduced price tkts and to do survey since we went this year...it's already on our calendar for '08.

See you in a few weeks. Back off to Ennis for the finals today....rain in forecast - ugh - perhaps it will stay away.

BTW, how did Jacques finish??
