Las Vegas Run March 2-5!

Well guys, my car was hit the other day, not bad.. but its not going to be tip top. I still plan on coming out provided that it checks out OK today from my mechanic. Its mostly cosmetic, but I dont need a front clamshell ripping off at 180mph

 

Sorry to hear about the fender bender, hope all is well with the car. I believe the speed limit is 65 - 70 mph, so you shouldn't have a problem

 

We might push and go about 75 on a long stretch.......

That happened recently to a friends F430. It must be a sickening feeling.

It has a full digital surround sound theatre setup in it, has a queen size bed, a loft bed, a shower (full bath) refrigirato/freezer and stove tops

Well, we should have some clear weather for the drive out on Thursday according to the most recent forecast.

However, regardless of the local weather I'm in for the long haul

 

Pretty much packed and ready to go. Can't wait to meet up with everyone.

I'm sure Aaron has a few spare bungee cords in there for me.

 

I just performed final checks on the following items:

1) Front and rear stealth radar detectors
2) Front and rear stealth laser shifters
3) Built in police scanner
4) CB radio set at long haul trucker frequency
5) Motorola two way radio

Everything works, and I am ready to go. Mind you, I never speed. These items are defensive measures designed to alert me if I accidentally exceed the posted speed limit. Tim

 

1) Just checked two way radios
2) Tire pressure checked and adjusted
3) Addresses programmed in portable gps
4) Max1's phone number programmed in cell phone, since he has every device known to man on his car for this trip

 

I guess that makes Tim the lead car. I will follow!

It may be dangerous to have me as the lead car. What happens if I suffer from a severe case of sensory overload? Imagine the radar detectors, shifters, scanner, CB and two-way radio going off simultaneously. All of this while listening to the XM stereo with the Tubi roaring and the wind in my face (top down).
