This is what I love about this community. Everyone is there to help out. I'll bring an extra roll of tape just in case.

I love the enthusiasm! The same guys who are willing to drive to Vegas are the same guys who don't mind rain. Even I WOULD drive my car in the rain for this event!! Not a problem.

Brian - Thursday is SUNNY according to the long range forecast. The only real questionable day appears to be Friday. So your journey out will be TOP DOWN!! Once you're there you can decide what to do. :)

I just hope the Paris buffet is better than Pimpdaddys happy hour! Is that the best we can do???? :)

How about an extra day at hooters...

Well, we can always hit the world class Bellagio or Caesars Place buffets.

Buffets, my third favorite thing about Vegas, can anyone guess the first two :)

If anybody's serious about buffets, the Paris is really good for around 25 bucks. Aladdin, next door is good too and a few bucks cheaper for a much larger selection. And Rio has a killer seafood buffet. Quantity over quality at that one, but still 35 dollars each for lobster, crab, scallops, shrimp, etc. ain't bad.

Sounds like you have some experience with Vegas buffets. I'll take quality over quantity any time, so lead me to the best Vegas has to offer and I'll be a happy camper :)

    since were on the topic...
I wasnt impressed with Bellagio and Aladdin.
If your off the strip go to Green Valleys...

vegas best kept secret buffet for the best price under $15 usually is Orleans for sure- at least 5 live cooking stations at all times. Look in the vegas free mags and usually a 2 for 1 coupon.

For quality food and another non popular one is Mandaly Bays at $25. WOuld take this over Bellagio, Aladdin, MGM, Mirage...

Thanks for the tip on Mandaly Bays.

I consider the daily Mirage buffet just ok, although the MGM Sunday Brunch was very good.

As far as daily buffets go I would say Caesars Place is the best I've experienced so far, but I haven't experienced many of the newer hotels yet. .

well I was once told that I dressed funny and needed help..
(which of course I agree with)

Hence all the women around me.. they can assist in undressing and redressing... works quite well..

but never that I "wasnt ok"

    hehe

Yep, I see that - and that's all fine and dandy, if it's sunny Thursday morning, I'm taking the Ferrari. If it's raining once we're there, me and my passenger will have our thumbs out to those that will be kind enough to offer us up rides!

Let's hope this time my alternator holds out! It failed last time, but super-Claudio came through, made me a bunch of quick connect adapters for rapid charging (paging Zsnnf).

Frank, buddy, this is the PAUPERS trip, not the high rollers trip. Not all of us can afford two Stradale's :D

Only serious buffet I'm looking at is Mcdonalds - I can get two big macs and still have money left over for the Wheel of Fortune :D
