Last night while on the bus to Fremont St I saw a Black 458 Spider , today while walking the strip I saw a Red 488 Spider, a Orange and a Green Huracan both Spiders...I think they were Huracans I’m not a expert at Lambo’s . All were on the Strip. Thursday there will probably be me in a new to me Black F430 Spider after I pick it up from getting clear bra and clear plex installed. Stripburger in the front corner of Fashion Show is the most fun lunch spot for car spotting, as it's an open air platform on the corner. Was brisk and fresh at 67°F today.
I have seen that place in my many trips with the wife to the Fashion Show. I will get her to have lunch there this weekend and try it out, maybe do some spotting!
Now that is rare. I think I've seen two of those ever: one at Shelby Museum and one at an LA Christmas car show.
I use to see them all the time back in high school (1999-2002) when the factory was at the race track. I always like them, but "it's got an Oldsmobile under the hood" is about the least inspiring phrase a motoring. Towards the end of their production run, I drove by the race track one day and there must have been 25 of them lined up outside. It was a glorious sight, but sad because it looked like they were just sitting.

Orange Huracan Spyder on the strip at lunch time. Probably the rental. Also saw a green Huracan with a mashed up nose at a body shop on Highland (across from Discount Firearms). Yeah auto journo Chris Harris has/had one too. Big with a few Indycar drivers too. Besides Kanaan and Rahal, I want to say one Indy driver had one, sold it, missed it so much he bought another one, think it might be Helio, but not 100% sure. They're a blast to drive, feels like you're driving on an oil slick half of the time.
I just saw a group of 4 Vipers, at least 2 were from Arizona and one was an ACR. Pretty neat to see them altogether running down the road! Oh they were on Russell crossing Eastern around 10:00 am
Saw you this morning on the way to work. Missed a few spots lately. A titanium 430 spider the other day. A few Huracans that were probably rentals. I see more Huracans lately than 430s or 458s.
Last week in the pre-game they showed Marchessault parking a matte grey Aventador Roadster outside the arena.
I've heard two conflicting reports about that. One said the car belongs to Vince Neil, the other said it belongs to a dealer in town. Either way, Vince Neil was at CNA and took a photo of it with the hashtag #companycar. Marchessault liked the photo. Neil then responded "take it for the day." They talked about it during the game and the NHL posted the clip on their Facebook.
Except that with his $5m/yr contract extension he can afford to buy it. Maybe he is trying them out to see which he likes.
Once again at Fashion Show, there was a white Gran Turismo, and a white SLS Black Series in the valet. White AMG GTs in front of Nordstrom's. Blue R8 (new) with a black wing went by. Black 90s Bentley brooklands. Don't even count Bentley Continental or flying Spurs anymore there are so many around here... About 6 black Phantoms went by but I assume they are all Wynn fleet vehicles.
