What year was the last batch of 355s sold in the UK through main dealers? I think someone had mentioned 1999V being the last lot. However, I remember seeing a 2000W 355 advertised by one of the independents in Topmarques.

    A bit confused.

You better check on the V5 or through HPI to see if the 'import' flag is checked. It might not be a UK car...?

Could it also be a car a dealer held onto before road registering?

Checked with the dealer and was assured(?) that it's a UK sourced car.

Ok, said this before I think but usually the last cars were 99T's or V's, if your 355 in question is a 2000 V or W it is most likely to be a malaysian/other import, and to be honest the V5 is the only thing to tell you what it is, as a certain Ferrari offical dealer sold me the car over the phone as a UK car and that it wasn't an import (I asked the question) and when viewed on the V5 it was obviously an import, so don't believe what anyone says as talk is cheap in my opinion.

Best advice is take chassis number and ask Ferrari UK, I think you'll get their number from Maranello as they share the same site in Egham.

    Cheers
    Paul
