It won't have any more value than any other similarly optioned Speciale unless you can get some official documentation from the factory that this is, was the last Speciale off the production line.
Answer of the seller : "no impossible to get a certificate or confirmation from factory"... Well, I am running away.
FWIW, I walked past the V8 line on 1st September (was there to see the VS) and I saw plenty of 458 Speciale and a few Speciale Aperta too.
I am amazed at the amount of people willing to buy this periodic BS of "the last one", "the first one", etc. Let alone paying several thousands for it!!! Factory is terribly inconsistent with serial numbering and manufacturing order. A higher VIN doesn't guarantee a car has been finished later than other with a lower VIN. They won't certify a "last of" because they actually can't... and it's a lot funnier to make several people believe they have the last one. Must say though that my perception is that it is the dealers who make up all this BS. OP: good move, please do run away.
Was at the factory yesterday. Roughly 4 Speciale, 10 Speciale A, the rest were 488s. By the way, if you have not taken the opportunity to visit the factory you a truly missing an amazing experience. The facility is as beautiful as the cars produced and now that the new F1 center is open it is included in the tour and we got to see Seb's and Kimi's cars from Monza being worked on. I believe I saw an automatic slushbox with launch control being installed on Kimi's, just kidding 😉. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was there last week, and I saw probably 14 Speciales and 10 Apertas... if you were there yesterday and saw 4 and 10 respectively, it sounds like they are already beginning to wind down....
I am having lunch at Montagna now and then going to the factory. I will ask the question. My Aperta was at stage 60 yesterday so I am hoping to see it today.
THE YELLOW FAMILY Phil Bachman, an American from Tennesee, has found a truly original way to collect only the most exclusive Ferrari models: he always buys the very last model in the series and always asks for the color yellow. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Describe your spec and I will be happy to let you know if I saw it. I can say that ALL of the Speciale As looked fantastic! I personally think they are the best looking Ferrari V8s made to date. Some color combos were eccentric but on this car everything works and personality seems to be a plus. Each owner should feel very fortunate to be included in that lucky group. As a Speciale owner I can say I am a bit jealous 😀. Enjoy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for this, it is Rosso Corsa, 4 point belt in red color (most of them are black), front and back parking sensor, carbon engine bay, white rev, nart stripe, red calipers, navigation and audio. I think with this description you should find it - but still, is it the last produced ? Big thanks.
I've visited the factory twice the last two weeks. During the last visit I saw just two Speciale's in production, the rest were Speciale A, California T and 488's. There was a 488 Spider sitting in the production facility too that a few engineers were tweaking the roof mechanism on. The last Speciale I saw on the production run was Rosso Corsa, NART stripe, black alc interior. Basically same spec as the show car.
Post 21 & 37 imply that there are at least two US 'collectors' who each are supposed to get the last of each model - given we are talking about production percentages that implies worldwide there could be more than six people each of whom are supposed to receive the last of each model !!
Post #21 is in reference to the person I mentioned by name - Phil Bachman in post 37. However not all of his collection is built as just yellow cars exclusively. Though it would have been consistent to have that early 288 GTO that has for some time now been painted yellow in his collection to... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw that spec including the red 4 point harness but cannot confirm white rev or CF engine bay, in fact there were 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't believe it either unless it has s dedication plaque on the car stating just that! And something in writing! I never trusted the limited edition series cause they don't say what number the car is out of that limited series. Sounds like bull**** to me just to get more money !!!
Did anyone catch a glimpse of a grigio medio Speciale A. Every carbon option except mirrors and fender gills, red/black interior. It is supposed to be done this week and on a plane next week or so on the way to the states. Just curious.... Regards, John
I was at the factory this afternoon and saw at least 6-8 Apertas and at least a dozen Speciales. Unfortunately I didn't see my Aperta and was told it was on a test drive and was going to the final prep for shipping area which is not on the factory tour agenda. I would be interested to know if you saw it yesterday. It's White with Blue Nart stripes, a dark Blue all leather interior with white stitching and has Gold Aperta wheels.
NeilF8888, yes! My wife and I specifically commented on your car and how beautiful it was. My Speciale has a Blu Scuro Alcantara interior, which I love, so the blue leather immediately drew our attention and looks gorgeous. As always the Aperta looks great in white and the stripe blended perfectly. Very well done sir, you will love it! It was one of the last cars on the line. I can't believe you just missed it, but know it is spectacular. Best Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A simple search here reveals 135262 is nowhere near the last Enzo And post 25 suggests another supposedly with the last of each model
thanks for the confirmation, I'll post the finished production photo when I get it. Congratulations on your Speciale.
