Clyde, do we want to go the CR539 route? If so we can all meet at the south bound turnpike service plaza (between 8A and 8, right after the car/truck lanes merge) at a time of your choosing. Then we should all meet again at the last service station on GSP just before the AC Expressway to line up the cars into Bogata.

Sounds great to me! Sounds like you'll lead the pack with a 348ts, right? ;) Does meeting there at 9:00am sound about right for everyone?

The Borgata directions suggest Rt 30 instead of the AC Expressway. If I remember, there is a gas/reststop at about exit 40 on the GSP : a mile before Rt 30 (White horse pike). For those with Buttuz cars, there is also a way in via the Black horse Pike, but I suggest you forgo that route.

Gus, you going to hook up with us on the GSP/White horse gas & Go?

I'll lead until we're on 539....then I'll hand the baton to Clyde :)

    So the plan is:
    1. Meet at the TURNPIKE rest stop at 9AM (between exits 8A and 8, right after the truck/car lanes merge).
    2. We'll exit off the TUNRPIKE at exit 8 and proceed to CR539 south.
    3. We'll be on CR539 for about 55 miles then proceed to the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY (GSP) south.
    4. We'll meet up again at the GSP reststop called the 'Atlantic City Service Area (ACSA)' at milepost 41.4. The next exit is Rt 30.
    5. Clyde will lead us into the Bogata.

Yahoo maps says it takes 1 hour 35 minutes to get to the ACSA from the TUNRPIKE rest stop, so Gus should be there around 10:35AM.....us slow folks (and ones with bladder control problems) might need a few more minutes to get to the ACSA.

Why don't you & Keri come down for the ride. Have lunch & leave early? Plenty of time for your party that night. And, you may take some of us not-so-lucky EC playas with you :)

Things are a little fuzzy for me right now. I actually sold my car today (long story) so I won't have it for the weekend. Also, my father and his partner decided to take all of the management and sales staff out to dinner tomorrow night. I'll probably have to meet you guys at the casino. I'll let you know. PM me with your phone # so that we can coordinate.

Actually, I lied. It's not a long story. I've just decided that I want to get another color. I change my mind like most people chnage their underwear! LOL. Don't worry. I'll probably get into another one soon. :)

OK, folks. it's down to the wire. I have you has coming on the Borgata run. If you want to stay at the $199 rate overnight, I need to know by tomorrow morning! I need your first & last name for the reservations. It must be pre-arranged.

So far I have Hubert (His own arrangements),
Woodear. You guys need to "Black-label" check in. Our contact is Noel Stevenson or Michael Facenda.

    Those going:
    Buttuz4eva, DancingDonkey, dm_n_stuff, DodgeViper01,
    drsrock, F5506M, Hubert888, kenster888, Michael355,
    nero328, noahlh, pchop, RANTANESIAN, robiferretti,
    W00dEar, white viper, and me.

The comedy club tickets are available at the box office under the group name McMurdy/Ferrari Club.

Parking: They'd like 2 cars out in front. cars TBD.
The rest of us have special VIP/reserved parking in the garage. I'm told we have 15 of the 30 "special" spots for owners, very expensive cars, etc. We will drive the cars down *with* the valet sitting in the passenger seat and we leave with the keys. The cars are photographed going in, and photographed going out. The cars will be watched, but there will not be a guard stationed on them. security cameras only.

Any last minute cars are probably fine. Let me know!
Doorsup, you coming? Bruce? Oscar? Neil?
    They are expecting 15-18 cars.

Does the meeting at the TPK rest stop a la Kenster888 sound good? south bound turnpike service plaza (between 8A and 8, right after the car/truck lanes merge) at 9:00am.
    Any other ideas?
I'll have simple maps to the Borgata. hit the link in the thread for better detail.

    Let me know,
    Clyde

    werd up zens!!!

    we attacking AC tomorrow baby!

I dont know how other people feel about this, but since the Borgata would like 2 cars to always remain in the front of the casino....

I would like to nominate my car and woodear's car since we will be the first 2 to arrive at the casino friday and our f cars are pretty sick looking. If people agree....Clyde...would u like to inform the Borgata Friday that they should leave our 2 cars out in front?

Since there's no Mondials : whatever works for everyone. I'm easy. :D I suspect the Borgata won't know the difference between a Stradale & Dino

As to taking the back roads.....we'll call it when we meet. It might slow us down a tad, and that may not be a bad thing. Tickets from/to AC are a bad, bad, bad thing.

Keith: you are not allowed on the casino floor. But after age 18, you can go anywhere else. Details are on their web site.

I sadly won't be able to make it there in my fcar cause I'm bringing the kids down to the shore in the Durango. I will, though stop by @ the boat show on fri and if anyone lets me know where you are hanging @ ~ 7 pm I might stop by and meet everyone. Originally the 18th was a go for me. Anyway, I hope you all have a good time.

Apparently the Borgata is heavily booked. The reduced room rates are no longer available. Current room rates are going for $600/night. Cudos to Hubi & W00dEar for taking advantage of our discount.
