Looks like he is in Hawaii so I doubt he was putting it away for the winter.....

We do need a little more detail though!

Erick, you're the winner! I'm trading in my F355 for an F430 Spider that I'm picking up today! It's Rosso Corsa with black interior and it's a stick! I'm kinda sad and happy at the same time because the 355 is such a GREAT car and I loved driving it every single time! I know I'm going to miss my 355 ...
The photo was taken on Oahu, H3 freeway on the windward side of the tunnels, on a winter drive before Christmas.

Upgrade? Come now...this is the 355 section of Fchat. You can discuss "upgrades" in the 430 section. :)

Kidding aside....congrats on the new car.

I was a touch concerned this story would end badly. Glad it didn't :)

Not for my money. Performance and newness isn't the end-all for passionate enthusiasts.

I will give him props for buying a 3 pedal F430 though.

its always sad to give up a car you've enjoined owning. I remember selling my very first car, it was a bitter-sweet moment. I had a lot of fond memories, but sometimes you gotta move on.

Of all the cars I've owned, the 355 is the only one that I've had sad feelings about letting go. Usually, I could hardly wait to get into my next ride. Yesterday, I saw my 355 going in the opposite direction being test driven, and WOW, what a nice sound! You're right, bitter-sweet and a lot of fond memories!
