Not only was it the last gasp for the Holy Donut it was also the last gasp for my clutch on the way home. Pulling out onto 95 I got into the throttle and the revs came up nicely, unfortunately the forward momentum didn't. Treated it gingerly from there on out and nursed it home. Guess I'll be calling Richard and Fernando tomorrow.

The question remains, does the curtain match the carpet?

Sorry, that was the only picture I got that night.

I made it out to the Donut yesterday -- first time for me. It was still going strong at its current location. Folks there didn't seem to know for sure when it would move over to the Park-n-Ride lot.

Weather was overcast, but the rain held off, and there was a decent turnout. I was the only Ferrari there, so I hung out with the GT40 guys. Nice bunch, very friendly, and as excited about their cars as we are about ours. I was amazed how much attention my lowly 348 got -- I think it must be the strakes. :) I also met bull30, who was there with his Lotus.

I didn't have my camera, but a college student who was there was kind enough to send me a few photos that he took. He really appreciated that I let him sit in my car, and he waited around to hear me start it up when I left.

There were five GT's total (not all at the same time). The yellow one in the middle (behind my car) is a replica GT-40. Very nicely done. It was striking how much smaller it was than the modern Ford GT's.

Thanks for the compliments about my 348. I've had it now for almost a year, and I'm still thrilled with it.
