I finally have seen The Godfather and Godfather 2. I had attempted to watch 1 awhile back but didn’t really get into it but decided the next time it came on demand I would give it a shot which I did and it was really good, I enjoyed both. Going to watch 3 next I know a lot of people didn’t care for it but I’ll see how I like it.

I've seen all 3, but it's been 25 years since last watched. IIRC, I thought #3 was pretty good.

I recorded this a while back and finally watched it today. Its called "The Housemaid" and was made in South Korea in 1960.

OMG is this movie creepy. Every character in the movie has some darkness. Extremely well done. Hard to take your eyes away.

Last night I saw 2013's "Man of Steel". What a total waste. Everything that was great about the original Christopher Reeves' movie they threw away in the trash can and loaded it up with crappy / endless special effects for the last 30 minutes. The middle hour of Clark as a kid / teen was completely boring. We don't care at all about the relationship of Lois and Superman, who isn't even Clark until the end credits. There's no memorable soundtrack like the original. There's no "truth, honor, justice and the American way". He doesn't want to be a hero-- for selfish reasons. He's just a confused guy trying to hide from the public most of the movie.

Way too much is spent on Krypton and the bad guys from Krypton. Nothing was spent on Krytonite itself.

I'm always amazed when Hollywood remakes a great movie and totally screws it up. They took Independence Day and added a guy in a cape.

I'm not going to tell you what it's about, but if you're a fan of the old TV show, I think you'll like it.

I’ve been holding off on finishing The Penguin but I’m one and a half episodes from the end at this point. I have enjoyed every episode so far and last night I watched episode 7 which featured a storyline of the Penguin when he was a kid with his family and I just have to say the young actor that played him as a boy was phenomenal.

Saw it yesterday, your description is pretty good.

It was probably a case where since the movie was about.....well gladiators, you were limited in what you can do to improve upon a nearly perfect movie. The CGI was awful, very little character development, the liberty taken from actual history was appalling. The Denzel character was interesting, and I really think they could have done more with Pedro's character.

The Beekeeper - Jason Statham takes one more shot at killing everyone he sees that violates his code of ethics - as a former special ops guy of some sort or other.

    Sound familiar? YUP.

But, I have to say, on a Statham scale of 1 to 10 it's about a 9. On a regular scale of 1-10 maybe a 6, but I still enjoyed it. Jeremy Irons is great in this one. Emmy Raver-Lampman plays the most unrealistic FBI agent I think I've ever seen on screen, but hey, it's a movie, suspend disbelief and away you go!!

^^^ I watched it, not very realistic but pretty much knew that going in. Would of liked to see more of the GTR that he stole in it!

I watched a movie that I had never heard of and sometimes those can be really good and of course sometimes not but this one was good. It’s called Laroy Texas has kind of a Fargo, Coen Bros’ type feel to it. Highly recommend.

I just thought that was a bridge too far for the script to go. It was already a plot twist to see the complete outsider win the election. That would have been a good/shocking enough ending as it was. Not necessary to bow to current PC trends to add in the trans angle to the story. Just my opinion.

Hope R Fiennes will go for an Oscar.
